I installed this system last September originally i had ready lift 2.25 but it was a rough ride on shocks. I still have ready lift upper control arms and they bottom out on bump stops. Im supposed to cut bump stops out but didn't want to.
I measured from the ground up to the wheel well at the center of the front and rear wheel. I still have a about 3/8 of an inch between the stock control arm and the rubber on the bump stop bellow the control arm.
I'd be curious to know how it sits wiith 1,000# over the rear axle. I have my '18 Silverado 1500 4x4 set up for 5th wheel . How would this system work WITH a set of the load leveling air bags with 1,000# over the rear axle and the air bags at 45#?? Would it ride nice or really rough??
I went with eibach rear shocks as well. It was a full kit. I normally use kroil but was all out at the time. You might have to order it depending on where you are but it’s definitely worth trying
Geez you went through extra work...I put in Eibach 2.0 and only loosened up the sway bar link.

instead of WD40, use PB Blaster, much better. So how is the ride and what rear shocks did you go with? (still watching the video)

@@powershot1422 Yes that's really good as well. Do you like the ride of these? Thinking of these or the Bilsteins.
@@TexasRedneck I would definitely purchase these again I feel like these changed the entire truck. I’m going to have a new video up soon with a review
@@powershot1422 awesome! I'll look forward to the review!
didn't need to do the swaybar or remove lines. just 3 18mm on top and 2 15s on the bottom. large prybar n done.
Have you installed this strut combo before ?
get rid of those stamped steel control arms asap
How much did yours measure with stock tires
20:20 where are you measuring at?
I was measuring from the ground - up to the wheel well.
How many threads where expose on the king nut ?
On the top of the front shock ?
Yes when I did mine, all I got was like 1 thread that the was visible at the top of the king nut
@@powershot1422 at the top of the shock I only had 1 visible thread
@@alvintanner115 I noticed the same thing when installing mine
Thanks PowerShot I appreciate the replies
How does it ride?
I wouldn't buy it again. Felt every little bump on the highway. It was great for large speed bumps.
