I have 18,21&24 in my bag with my v6 irons they are amazing No driver, no 3 wood, and I love golf again. Just need to learn how to hit my driver again 😂
Hello Lee, I have impressed with your new direction. Many of us are older and not totally healthy. Wilson Staff is a brand my father played - as an American - it is compelling even though it is Finnish owned now. Keep it going, you have a great niche. Nice to see you are championing them and the average Joe!
I am going through a hate period with my Mizuno Fli Hi 2 Iron. Loved it all last summer, have fallen out with it over the winter and have a hyrbid in there instead at the moment. Will have to give this one a try.
I have this club in the 18 deg (2 iron) and I love it. I'm a high handicap. I can't hit Woods or hybrids (super slicer) but this club has taken 2 off my handicap every week. Going to take my driver, fairway wood and hybrid out the bag and get the whole series (15, 18, 21, and 24 degree). Course management and placement with these clubs are the secret.
@@oliver69cork46 what shafts do you have? I have the 70g regular flex. Just purchased the 24 deg 2 days ago, I was going to buy the 15 deg as well but was told I might not have a fast enough swing to get the ball up and might make a low slow stinger.
@@simonwilliamson6886 thanks for your query. Have taken the driver and hybrids out, couldn't ever hit them, its my technique I guess. Play the 15,18 and 21 wilson staff utility irons, very pleased. The 15 is hard enough to cleanly hit and it goes only slightly further maybe 15 yards than the 18 but lower. 18 degree raises the ball better and 21 is easy to hit. Another aspect of these clubs is that they're hard to hit if you get a bad lie so I keep the 2,3 wilson staff cb irons for this, much easier to dig out. Hit the 2 iron out of a bad lie last week on a par 4 between trees, just landed on edge of the green. Try out the clubs then decide. I use stiff 80g shafts on my utility irons and steel shafts on my irons. Test your swing and experiment as much as you can. Only can tell you from my experience rather than sales type spin. Good luck.
My dad bought the 18 a few years ago, didn’t like it, and he just uses his 20 year old ping 2 instead, he said I could have it. Haven’t been able to hit any balls with it yet, but it feels pretty good just practice swinging in my backyard.
Enjoying seeing Wilson making somewhat of a "comeback" lately, best driver they've had for a while, and the Irons are looking good too
I have the 21deg, its my fav club in the bag. Tee or deck 👍👍
Wilson irons and driving irons have been amazing for so long.
Good that there woods have caught up the level of there irons
Sometimes spin is your friend!!! Love the Wilson comeback!
Gotta say that the slower swing looked good. Use that swing and play from the front tees. You will do fine.
Interesting information Lee, good to meet you at Exeter.

Have this in the 3 and 4 Iron, and they're my Go-to on a lot of courses.
I have this club in 15 degree with x flex kbs 80 hybrid shaft to replace my 3 wood as I hate hybrids and woods

I have it 2 iron and I love it. Its perfect in the summer from the tee and in narrow holes.

Just like me,15,18 and 21 degree models and very happy. No driver or hybrids, have slightly less distance but more direction.
