I grew the onions and peppers I mixed with tomatoes and froze some too. I have to sit down and cut stuff up but I'm able to keep going!
I'm so glad y'all showed up in my feed. My grandparent have gone on to Glory, and y'all remind me of them. Watching this was like getting a hug from Heaven.❤
We also have a large pantry and prep. Just a little tip for you and your viewers which we find makes rotating easier. We take a sharpie and write the expiration date (just the month and year) on the front label of the can. It’s time consuming but I believe it saves time in the long run especially if you are older and find it hard to read the expiration dates to begin with.😂
Great grocery haul 👍 and money 💰 well spent. I like chicken noodles soup with a can of sliced 🥕 carrots. I like the Hunts pasta sauce too. My husband is out of work so we go to a few food pantries. I am grateful for this food. We are 65 now. God be your all everyone.❤
Just found your channel today. I usually shop only once a month as I hate it. But seeing your channel has inspired me to do pantry stocking also with those big quantities. Hubby and I are in our early 70s and we live in Maine where the winters can be brutal, but we love it here. I see you buy a lot of Great Value brands. I have tried some of them but you have inspired me to try more!
You 2 are my favorite you tube channel. You both are so sweet and kind and respectful to each other and I just think it’s wonderful. You certainly show us what Christian behavior is. I hope you and Calvin have a wonderful week, Marie. Great video! Good tips, Calvin!
Thank you for reminding me to buy tomatoes with green chilies. Yes prepping is something you have to work at and we know The Lord will provide but you should still be prepared.
Me too. Keep about 6 to 8 shelf stable milks on hand. A large powdered milk and evaporated milk about 10 cans I use the evaporated milk as a coffee creamed.
One way to use up some of your extra cream of mushroom soup is to cook off white rice and mix them together. So yummy! This video was so helpful. At this time of year, I start slowly stocking up to get through the next winter.
What a treat to have your you tube show up on my feed!! A wonderful, kind , Christian couple ! You feel like home❤️ My husband and I are 71 yrs old. We prep cause our kids don’t !!
When I make chili I use one can of Hormel chili, one can of tomato soup , one can of stewed tomatoes and one can of light red kidney beans. I also add some cooked rice or pasta and add chili powder or cumin to it and it is delicious .
New subscriber. Loved your prep haul! I'm in NW Arkansas, but lived in Greenville, SC about 8 years ago. When I heard Maria say y'all were stopping by Bojangles for a chicken biscuit, my mouth stared watering! Lol. I used to get one every morning on the way to work. We do not have Bojangles here, sadly. I miss it. I am new to prepping, but went out today to a neighboring town to check out a couple of discount/grocery salvage stores that I heard about and boy did I find a lot of great deals. Spent $371 for non perishable food and meats for the freezer. It's just me and this should put me close to a four month supply with plenty to share if the need arises. I look forward to watching your older videos and catching up. Thank you for sharing your lives with this community! God Bless---Patti
New sub here, just discovered your channel yesterday. We are also a retired couple, and we stay prepped with a deep pantry and full freezers. Among other good reasons to prep is the skyrocketing cost of food. Everything on my pantry shelves is a hedge against inflation because those same items will cost more next month. We recently did a big canned food haul from Aldi’s and Walmart pickup the same day, as they are close together in our town. Shopping day is tiring, so we plan for a super easy supper, like sandwiches.
First time seeing your channel....you two are so sweet and considerate of each other...so nice to see..........you shop the same things I do, I cannot walk too far on a trip and was wondering how much a buggy would hold.......so i know now and thank you for the video.
I enjoy your video. I subscribed. We are respectfully 80 and 71 years of age. Stocking up on canned, frozen pot pies, and house cleaning items was our last haul. We usually bring home cooked foods from the Deli.
Y'all are so sweet. I am the worst when it come to grocery shopping. Im even worse when it comes to meal planning. Lol Ill have food in the cart, i honestly don't believe i have anything hardly. Those are the 2 main things i need help with. Its like my brain doesn't comprehend it. I really do love soups and stews. I grew up with it. My husband likes it. Its not his favorite. God bless you always. Take care. Love, Madeline ❤
Calvin and Marie Thank you for taking us along on your prepping haul. Some of your prices are lower and some are about the same. Wish our Walmart was well stocked like yours. Good job.i have2 small areas for my prepping and I am glad to have it. Prices go up every month that I restock.
So smart to buy in bulk. Living in Hawaii, we always stock up because if there are any problems with shipping or air suppliers, we would be in dire straits. Thanks for showing us what you stock up on. Have a great and safe week.
@@dellawhalen3937 that is a hard question to answer. Some items will last longer than others. Tomatoes and green beans we eat them a lot. The can chicken we eat maybe one can a week. We also use this food for our cooking videos.
Hi Folks Love this video. I keep a very well stocked pantry. My favorite thing to do is grocery shop. Breakfast looked very good. Calvin kudos to you for using a spatula for scrambling eggs. Can’t stand to hear metal scraping. Marie just wanted to tell you how pretty you look with your hair up. Love the headband. ❤

Just found your channel! Retired 68-year-old to a little hobby farm down in Missouri. Been prepping a little at a time since the Pandemic. But I am disabled and can't drive so I order all my food from Walmart and Amazon! Always have every type of canned meat !! Nice haul!!
That’s a good haul to fill up your pantry. You’re going to be busy putting all that up on your shelves. Food prices are out the roof. It breaks my heart knowing that people are out there struggling to buy food. Calvin, I’ve been praying about your upcoming tests. God bless you both.

10:29 Eagle condensed milk is $2.58 a can, and on the lower shelf I noticed it looks like the Carnation condensed milk cost only $1.72. I sometimes will pick out a specific brand of product and as I wheel forward, I'll discover a cheaper one, and *that* will be the one I'll grab as I put the 1st choice back. Whenever possible I try to comparison shop, look for deals if any consist of things I normally buy, and if a particular brand isn't a low enough price, I will pass it by. I am on a limited fixed monthly income and a set amount of food stamps (SNAP). Grocery prices are so high now, and after making my purchases that one bag of items sometimes totals $100.00.
Thanks very much Rachel. We try to get the best prices also but sometimes we miss them. Marie prefers to use the Eagle Brand condensed for her cream cheese pies that she loves to make.

Excellent video on stocking up on food. I really appreciate the prices of each item. I am just getting into stocking up on food and this video is the best I have seen.
First time watching. My parents always had a good full pantry. Dads gone and moms a young 90. She still has her pantry! Thankyou for the reminder of different foods to get. I can’t wait to watch your cooking videos! That breakfast,I could smell the bacon.
Marie & Calvin thank you for your Walmart prepping haul.Yes I enjoyed shopping with you. You too are so sweet.❤Nanette. Yes Aldi is great for your pocket book.Aldi coming close to me in Jan 2025 old Winn Dixie store.
Thanks for taking us along we really enjoyed it …definitely a smart thing to do ..now you have your work cut out for you putting it up …God bless the both of you
Hi Folks! That was fun. I wondered if you clip coupons? There were about 5 items that we pay less for, everything else we pay more in Canada. God Bless, Deb p.s. Looking forward to seeing your roses you planted last year! 🌹🌹🌹
Nice haul Calvin and Marie. I’m getting ready to do the same thing. Prices are only going up. I like the 4 pack chx. Boy, you were right on the money!😂 I got one of those 5 shelf tough shelves from Walmart. Don’t have a lot of room but it holds quite a bit. Lookin for what’s cookin this week. Have a Blessed evening!🌻✨
Love the video! I have to do a restock too but I have been procrastinating! I try to keep everything pretty well rotated but I am out or low on a lot of items. Dreading the price tags though!
It looks like a good hall, and I like that you buy things that you eat in your everyday life. That’s smart when it comes to keeping your stock rotated like you said.🦋
Watching you make that breakfast, helped me to decide what I'm having tomorrow morning as I have everything here that you used to make mine. God bless you both.
Glad to find your channel! Good tips and hope that y'all know how to use coupons to your advantage and the cycles of groceries. You can stock up when those cycles occur. Good way also. ❤
Thanks very much Glenda. Yes the tomatoes will make it go twice as far. Coincidence but we just finished watching your video about 15 minutes ago. Your steak looked great but neither one of us can really chew steak enough to enjoy it unless it's cubed steak. We're praying that you will feel better soon. Have a Blessed week, Calvin and Marie
That's a great prep haul .... Your pantry is very nice and organized ..... Those were good prices, I like to prep too, I may go buy a few things myself ..... Y'all got a lot of different variety too..... Its been a beautiful day 🌞
Thank you for this video! It is so good to have a well - stocked pantry. It cuts down on trips to the store and makes it easy to pull meals together. I look forward to your pantry tour video.
Nice haul we buy pretty much of the same things my wife is not to moble she’s got r a in her knees I’m ok to be pushing 60 but I still work and get around good especially up at the cabin in the mountains cutting grass and firewood I do love the fire place and the fire pit which can be used for cooking too I have other mean of heat up there too so no worries there lol there are zero utilities there but it’s just like a modern house with solar and propane and even a tv antenna I get 80 channels way up high like it is we got black bears deer and wild hogs too so there always gonna be food also trout streams too
Hey my Christian friends. Are the prices of just necessities insane? Just to be safe my hard working husband and I have been prepping for a while now. Now I'm retired and I just can't seem to get my hard working children to understand what's going on. I have two small grand babies and I worry about their future with the poor but no good leadership happening inside our own American government now. I say prep and stock up as much as we can with non perishable foods. I'm already stocked up on dried noodles and pastas. Nice to know you guys are doing better. Keep it up and God Bless you both and God Bless AMERICA.🙏👍❤❤
Your not alone. Mine think I’m gonna garden extra can extra and send it to them in the mail lol. I said I can’t do that. It would cost more than I can afford. Crazy kids lol
What are you prepping for? Why wouldn’t you just prepare to meet Jesus, the Bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow, as Christians we should know better! All your video is doing is a form of fear mongering😔
I'm excited to see you do this video. I think I remember some of your prepping videos. My word! Your Walmart is really well stocked. Stores here not so much. Western WA Seattle ish.. 60 miles from. Marie are you running the calculator and keeping track for prices? Canned Peaches and Pineapple are probably my fave. Tip Marie out of that chair. Looks like they way much, much more than she does.
Good stock up. Did you check the expiration date on all those? It seems like everything in my wal mart the date is right at the expiration date and a lot of our meat is all ready expired.
Hello my first time watching..I started prepping. I bought some canned green beans but they have reached their expiration date, so do I throw them out? I don't usually buy canned veggies but being new to prepping I purchased them in case of emergency. Do you use the stuff in your pantry or just stock it ? I have also purchased battery operated lanterns and a camping stove w/ gas cylinders. Hope I'm not going overboard but the way things are I want to be prepared. I read about grid outages. I'd appreciate any input from you or your community..Thank you for sharing your shopping list, I found some interesting products.
Thanks very much Teresa. We only buy food to prep that we know that we will eat. We will take the oldest can from the shelf and eat that one first. When the supply gets low, we will buy more to replace what we have used. That is what we were doing in this video. Your cans of green beans are still good for a long time after the date on them. If you're not planning to eat them then donate them to a family that can use them. Canned vegetables may not be the best for our health but in times of no food to be bought, they will keep you alive for longer.
Glad you noticed those dents. I know I aggravate people on the isle but I look over every can I buy and I never let them be put in bags. Somehow they always end up with dents so to make it easy I just buy a case
Hello Calvin and Marie, I love when you do the Walmart and Dollar Tree hauls. Those biscuits, bacon, and eggs looked so good. Hope all is well with you two. Take care and stay safe.
When we order online we sometimes get bent cans as well. That is why we went inside this time. I've never had a problem with the dates being expired on can goods. Thanks very much, Calvin

First time watching. My parents always had a good full pantry. Dads gone and moms a young 90. She still has her pantry! Thankyou for the reminder of different foods to get. I can’t wait to watch your cooking videos! That breakfast,I could smell the bacon.
Welcome!! Thanks very much
Marie & Calvin thank you for your Walmart prepping haul.Yes I enjoyed shopping with you. You too are so sweet.❤Nanette. Yes Aldi is great for your pocket book.Aldi coming close to me in Jan 2025 old Winn Dixie store.
You are so welcome, Nanette.
The Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk is the same thing as the Great Value sweetened condensed milk. I noticed that you bought both.
Thanks very much
Hello. Love the haul, we need to get a few more things for our pantry, but we're stocked up OK. Thanks for taking us along. Take care. Mrs Lonnie

Hi Folks! That was fun. I wondered if you clip coupons? There were about 5 items that we pay less for, everything else we pay more in Canada. God Bless, Deb p.s. Looking forward to seeing your roses you planted last year! 🌹🌹🌹
Thanks very much Deb. We don't really do the coupons.
Nice haul Calvin and Marie. I’m getting ready to do the same thing. Prices are only going up. I like the 4 pack chx. Boy, you were right on the money!😂 I got one of those 5 shelf
tough shelves from Walmart. Don’t have a lot of room but it holds quite a bit. Lookin for what’s cookin this week. Have a Blessed evening!🌻✨
Thanks very much
Love the video! I have to do a restock too but I have been procrastinating! I try to keep everything pretty well rotated but I am out or low on a lot of items. Dreading the price tags though!
Thanks very much, that's what we had to do.
@@SouthernCountryLiving It's always good to actually use the prepper pantry though and not have it expire and go to waste! 🥰
It looks like a good hall, and I like that you buy things that you eat in your everyday life.
That’s smart when it comes to keeping your stock rotated like you said.🦋
So true! Thanks very much
Watching you make that breakfast, helped me to decide what I'm having tomorrow morning as I have everything here that you used to make mine.
God bless you both.
Thanks very much
Frist time watching you guys. Enjoyed you both. Can't wait for the next video!
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice prepping haul 😊!!!! Thank you for sharing how you are keeping stocked up. I love how smart of buyers you two are. God bless you both…..🍃💗🍃
Thank you! You too!
Glad to find your channel! Good tips and hope that y'all know how to use coupons to your advantage and the cycles of groceries. You can stock up when those cycles occur. Good way also. ❤
Welcome!! Thanks very much
This was a great video I would love to see more prepping videos from you guys 😊
We will! Thanks very much
I'm so happy for y'all to have replenished your pantry. I love Hormel Chili too but never thought about adding a can of tomatoes to it!
Have a Blessed week,
Calvin and Marie
Good for you! So good to stock up, and keep up with replenishing! 👍
Thanks very much
You can make your own condensed soups as well.
Thanks very much
I think a lot of folks forget about can fruits so really glad you had that in your preps.
We definitely use those a lot.
That's a great prep haul .... Your pantry is very nice and organized ..... Those were good prices, I like to prep too, I may go buy a few things myself ..... Y'all got a lot of different variety too..... Its been a beautiful day 🌞
Thanks very much
Thank you for this video! It is so good to have a well - stocked pantry. It cuts down on trips to the store and makes it easy to pull meals together. I look forward to your pantry tour video.
You are so welcome!
Wow! I am very impressed with your pantry. Beautifully organized. Well planned. Good job!
Thanks so much! 😊
Great haul guys. Those biscuits remind me of my grandma.
Thanks so much
I just ran across channel i know it was a Blessing God Bless yall and your channel
Welcome!! Thanks very much
Thank you for your Walmart prepping haul.Yes,prices have gone up quite a bit.God Bless you both.Nanette
You are so welcome
Nice haul we buy pretty much of the same things my wife is not to moble she’s got r a in her knees I’m ok to be pushing 60 but I still work and get around good especially up at the cabin in the mountains cutting grass and firewood I do love the fire place and the fire pit which can be used for cooking too I have other mean of heat up there too so no worries there lol there are zero utilities there but it’s just like a modern house with solar and propane and even a tv antenna I get 80 channels way up high like it is we got black bears deer and wild hogs too so there always gonna be food also trout streams too
Sounds great
Hey my Christian friends.
Thanks very much. We've been prepping for about 15 years now.
It's absolutely crazy how just the necessities have gone up! It's definitely harder to provide!
And the food doesn't taste the same like it used to.
What a beautifully stocked up pantry. I would love to see what Marie makes with the pumpkin.
Thanks very much
Love prepping videos! Keep em coming!
Thanks very much
This is my first time visiting your channel. I will be back! Blessings to both of you. 💙
Thanks very much
🩷💐🩷Hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day. Blessings to you, today and always. 💜💐💜
Thank you! You too!
Love the way you present the quantity and price. Great haul.
Thanks so much!
Great idea to buy multiple cans of each item. You have a wonderful canned food haul!!
Thanks very much
Just love you two ! Inspiring❤
Thanks very much
Well hello neighbors! I live in Gordon county. I just found your channel today and y’all are so precious!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks very much Kendra. The cart was full for sure.
Good stock up. Did you check the expiration date on all those? It seems like everything in my wal mart the date is right at the expiration date and a lot of our meat is all ready expired.
I only checked the dates on the meats and they were all OK.
Very good grocery haul and perfect items for prepping ❤😊🙏🏻
Ms. Ruby
Thanks so much
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. You gave me some good ideas. Thank you!
I'm so glad! Thanks very much
Just found your channel. We raise a garden and can a lot of our vegetables and fruits. It helps so much with us
Welcome to our channel. Thanks very much
We turned our living room closet into a pantry and it's well stocked.
Good idea.
Yes, the new cans are so thin that they dent very easily.
You have inspired me to go shopping. I would have to buy a little each week. But I need to be buying some extra. Thanks for the good video.
I'm so glad! Thanks very much
Greetings from Columbia, South Carolina, New subscriber. Great content, looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
Awesome! Thank you!
What a great haul! It is so smart to Be Prepared!
It really is! Thanks very much
Hello Calvin and Marie, I love when you do the Walmart and Dollar Tree hauls. Those biscuits, bacon, and eggs looked so good. Hope all is well with you two. Take care and stay safe.
Thanks very much, we're doing good
Y'all are so sweet and I enjoyed this video. I just subbed to your channel. ❤
Thank you so much!!
This is just a thought, get you at least two manual can opener's. I'm sure we could get can's open in an emergency, but since we're prepping.
Yes, I have some of the old military can openers.
Hello, I pause, then play and shop online, creating my list. I'm glad you trust your Walmart, my Walmart bent can, and expired dates
When we order online we sometimes get bent cans as well. That is why we went inside this time. I've never had a problem with the dates being expired on can goods.
Thanks very much,
Calvin
