Just wanted to say thank you because I passed my driving test today with five minors and you have helped me out so much and many others as well. I am in shock and so grateful that I passed.💌
Omg just watched half of this video and it really helped me pass today. Especially the part about telling the examiner to move if you cant see. Thank you so much.
@@ZONDOdriving 2 were for “clearance” which was silly on my part because I could’ve pulled into bigger spaces, 2 for apparently not looking over my shoulder when moving off (I did Every time but I don’t think I made it abundantly clear!!!) and one for my front bay park, front wheel must’ve been half an inch on the line !! Thank you!
Your videos were amazing! Thanks for your clear instructions and useful tips, I passed my driving test on the first try with only 5 minors in Hendon. Your expertise boosted my confidence, and I will recommend your videos to everyone preparing for their test, thank you 🎉
The 2 minors based on the result they’ve sent to my email was 1 minor for controlled stop which i thnk i did it right but i dont know why i still got the minor for that, and the other one was the paralel parking dont want to risk forcing it on one try as im pretty sure ill hit the curve which would go to a serious. And the rest was very straight forward just making sure to observe and look before you move off
First time coming across your video. Very interesting, i have subscribed to see more of it, and i have my practical test in two weeks' time. Hopefully, I will be back to tell you the good news. 👍
Chester, thank you for subscribing and welcome. Good luck with your test. Just remember to show them that you’re a safe driver. Looking forward to hearing the good news. Is there anything in particular you’re worried about when it comes to your test?
Wow Mark you are an amazing instructor, I just got to 11 mins of watching, parallel park looks soo easy 😀 My instructor has taught me soo diffently .Unfortunately I failed my test im gonna keep going until I pass .Thank you for this ,the hacks you put on for passing your test ,I got reverse into bay right straight away .I wish you was my instructor, you are amazing 😊🎉.im going keep watching. Thank you 😊.....The examiner got me to park in a bus stop at a junction 😔,I thought I'd already failed so I did what she asked I didn't fail before this . Also she did me for mirrors ,she was soo intimidating every time I checked my mirrors ,it made me nervous 😓. But onwards and upwards
Thank you so much for that. I honestly appreciate you. Don’t let this experience with the last test affect your next one. Go into with a fresh mind. Never assume you’ve failed until they tell you so. A lot of things can happen on the test that learners think are serious faults when in reality they aren’t even faults at all. So my advice is to keep going as though you can still pass. When I passed my test I thought I’d failed. So you never know ! Good luck 🤞🏾 😀
@@ZONDOdriving thank you soo .much Mark for your encouragement 😁.I really appreciate 🙏 you .I've learnt soo much from you. Thanks to you I will get this 🙏❤️
Ooooh thank you mark you are such as great instructor I wish I would’ve have you you would’ve been my instructor right now and it’s easy to understand ❤❤❤❤
Sorry I'm not too familiar with part 2 routes around Mill Hill. They will drive in most of the paces I show in my videos and a bit further towards the M1 and A1M etc.
On the independent driving section, will the examiner always tell me where to go? Or is there also an option to follow a SAT Nav? Also thank you for your videos, been watching atleast 1 everyday to help me with my driving test!
Is Hendon and Mill Hill similar? And what’s easier / better? I practiced Hendon but can’t find any tests but there’s lots available for Mill Hill so thinking to take it ? In addition , I feel like if you know how to drive it doesn’t matter where you’re driving ?
They are so close together that they share a lot of the same roads. Main difference would be coming out of the centres. Mill Hill can be a bit trickier to come out of.
@ any tips when doing mill hill , got my test on Thursday morning 7 am , but haven’t practiced any routes there , anything you recommend I know or should know ? Kind regards
Im a bit confused, ive had 14 hrs 7 lessons so far. My driving instructor always tells me to change to third gear as soon as i hit 20 and to always drive at the speed limit because ill fail if i drive too slow? But i see that you drive on second gear when u are at the 20mph speed. What would you reccomend. Is it fine to stay in 2nd or is 3rd gear a MUST?
@phiane2451 that could be the case tbh, but in the test could I theoretically drive in 2nd and do I always have to stay on 20mph. I know I can fail for driving slow but I don't see y I need to be on the speed limit at all times
Hi. Not to go against your instructor but 3rd is not a must. It depends what's going on and after talking to several examiners, you can't fail if you're in 2nd when 3rd would be better. They might talk to you about Eco driving after the test but it shouldn't affect how they mark it. But have a word with your instructor because there might be a good reason for them to say that to you. Hope that helps and good luck on your upcoming test.😁
The national speed is 70 mph. But if there is no national speed limit sign, you have to go with the sign that’s displayed. On this video it was 50mph. Hope that helps 😀
Hi John, I'm not sure I fully understand your question but I'll try and answer the best I can. You should change gear any time the car requires it depending on the speed you're doing and what is going on around you. Are you having issues with knowing when to change gears?
@@ZONDOdriving There is like a dashboard that has a 1x1000r/min and yes, I have some issues with changing my gear, as this would be a serious problem. And thank you for replying. Your videos are great about your local area of north-west London.
@@John-wr3pg so when it comes to RPMs, in most cars you should change gear when you’re around 2000 RPMs. If you’re trying to gain speed quickly then around 3000 or even 4000 RPMs. For gearing down, if the RPMs drop to near 1000 I would think about dropping a gear. Hope this helps.

Hi mark would you say that Mill Hill tests are fairly easy? Thank you
I would say it's average. Fast roads, slow roads, different types of roundabouts, hills etc.
Thanks! Just passed :)

Hi, do you have to check your right blind spot when moving off after emergency stop?
Hi 👋🏾. Since you’re in the middle of the road, it’s best to check all blind spots before moving off. Do you think it’s a bit overkill?
