Insane as usual. I would love to know what your settup is. How are you getting that smooth response. If you get a minute, please share, I'm sure I am not the only curious cat here.
You really think it's about "setup"? Seriously? Low action yeah and probably light strings, but 99.99999% of it is practicing until you are totally exhausted. Then repeat that for 10 years every day. You can't fake or cheat or "fast track" fluidity of playing, it only comes with time and hard work. ONLY. If you play only 1 hour every day, you can FORGET this kind of fluidity. I would say 4 hours every day is minimum, and probably not enough.
I think you have the wrong end of the stick buddy. I used to practice for at least 4 hours per day. I have been playing 36 years and I can shred like a beast. I am asking about the sound. Not the feel of the guitar. @@shredd5705
Thanks. Tbh, when I do these sort of vids where I know what I’m playing, I like to tweak the tone accordingly. I always use my go to Kemper profile, but in this track I more than likely boosted the compression a little bit, and add a tiny bit of chorus to smooth things out (helps with pitch also).
Another important thing is how I’m picking. With sweeping, I tend to pick very lightly compared to how I alternate pick. I like the sweeps to sound almost legato in nature, so I do my best to keep it consistent 😅
