I wanted to show you what I did the last month (and a bit). I bought some beautiful antique/second hand frames for my paintings. I tried to challenge myself with painting subjects I'm still not quite yet comfortable with. I think it's important to keep going out of my comfort zone with painting if I ever hope to improve lol. I also finally made some prints of my painting of Mr. Darcy! I just released a very small batch on my new website for anyone who's interested! Thank you so, so much for your support and following me along on my art journey. I hope you enjoy this art vlog :)
PS: I apologize for sounding a bit sick in this video, I had a cold :(

Thank you so much🥰🥰
Always nice to find suitable old frames, though I prefer to find empty ones as I feel bad about evicting existing pictures.
I love your painting style
thanks for this lovely video ❤
Thank you so much for watching, I’m so happy you liked it!🥰
you are so amazinggg! I love your style, do you have any tips on how to paint? I always struggle with capturing likeness from my reference
Thank you so much! I think I might do a video about how I approach this in the future, since I think it’s hard to explain in text form haha. But I personally learned a lot from copying old master paintings/paintings you like! I think studying artists and paintings you admire and trying to recreate them and figure out what you like about them can really help you with your practice. This will help you get on your way to understand color and composition more, which will improve your own paintings as well! But I want to do a more in depth explanation of all of this in the future so I can help you better :)
@@rachellejo this helps so much!!! thanks for replying
I'm from the Netherlands too and very much into oil painting, Where did you get the Pochade Box from with the glass pallette? I've been looking for one myself :)
It’s the Sienna Plein Air Pochade Box! I got mine from amazon ☺️
Jimena Reno is you? xDD
My thoughts exactly 😅
