    The real George who was actually a Mexican biker named Jorge, and her son and daughters father (ex husband) both tried to extort Erin out of money after watching the movie, despite Jorge being paid generously for the portrayal of his character in the movie, and Erin raising the latter's 2 kids alone. Both men were video taped and arrested. They were charged with exortion and conspiracy to commit extortion and faced up to 4 years in prison as a result.

    • @AnnaLVajda
      @AnnaLVajda 4 роки тому +4

      @@soupdragon12345 it was implied considering she showed cleavage and the other girls did not as if having breasts is unprofessional that sounds sexist to me. It's not like her nipples were showing. Also had the other girls liked her she would be having lunch with them instead of working through lunch. Her work ethic should have been more appreciated.

    • @jengable4888
      @jengable4888 4 роки тому +5

      Anna Vajda ....there are two ways to look at this ..#1- she is working through her lunch, which should be appreciated. In addition, people can be jealous + petty in a work environment. However, #2- there can be a perception toward those who have cleavage, tattoos, piercings etc and in certain places of employment, there are guidelines & dress codes that should be followed.

    Every time I wonder just what kind of fantasy land exists where you can talk to people like that, including your own boss and get away with it; I observe this woman's incredible photographic memory.
    Incredible even for being photographic.
    I guess this can't be just more Hollywood bullshit.
    This is for real, right?
    Brokovich could pull up precise phone numbers, personal information, addresses, specific illnesses, dreams and ambitions, etc. etc. from hundreds of files just with a name and memory alone.
    Again; incredible.
    I have never personally encountered or even HEARD of anyone who could do this until now. (Maybe a UFO?)
    This is really equivalent to computer capability.
    If this really isn't exaggerated fiction, then her mind belongs in the Guiness Book Of World Records.

      I watched an interview years ago with the real Erin and Ed, and apparently she really did memorize all the plaintiffs numbers and a lot of other things. Strangely I'm the same way (I highly doubt I could remember 634 numbers, maybe 100) and I have been to court before (as a witness) and the lawyers were stunned at how good my memory was for dates, times, etc. I even corrected the lawyers on multiple occasions. The Planning Department adopted a dress code. It would be funny to see it now, and especially to learn what incidents may have prompted it. I remember it being delivered by Joy (?) We had to wear pantyhose in the summer in Phoenix when it was 110 degrees. Or, we culd have worn pants. The women started making jokes to one another about "toe cleavage" as we couldn't wer open toed shoes. If anyone had their tits in, it was me. I didn't like the restrictions, but I loved wearing a suit to work. It was like "take me seriously as a grown up." I think Leslie worea wider variety of clothes.

    I think dressing appropriately for the job you're doing absolutely makes a difference in how you're perceived and does indicate a level of self-awareness, self-respect, and respect for the job. But at the end of the day, if an employee dresses "unprofessionally" but is a fantastic employee, you can look past that, as long as there's no set dress code in place. If other employess have a problem with it, then they're not as focused on their work as they should be.
