- Sarah Sauer is back with a review of the brand-new 2016 BMW X6. The BMW X6 is powered by 4.4 liter TwinPower Turbo V8 making 445 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, 0 to 60 mph will come in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph.

OK knock of putting Sarah down ! she is one a few women who review motors and does it well, better than some men, fact she presents it in not her native tongue makes her more impressive, so knock the car not the presenter, FYI she reviewed the Mercedes S Class AMG 2015 and....... well convinced me to get buy one, so please, leave the lovely lady alone and just decide on the car not her !

Sarah I hope you know you are fantastic at what you do and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. I don't often comment on UA-cam videos and I only do when I feel something should be understood. The people who leave rude comments aren't aware of how lucky they are to have the opportunity to watch free, professional and easy to watch reviews of all different types of cars. Also to have a native reviewer - a beautiful one at that is car reviewing at its finest.

I'm planning to get this, the new 7 series or an M3/M4. Help me decide! The M3/M4 is on the bottom of my list because I hate how their M shifters look! Prefer the regular electronic shifter look.

If I put this thing side by side with lets say a Jag convertible or a corvette I would find it more usable. It can hold more cargo and seat 4 adults, its AWD and much more usable on wet weather. Saying this is useless is like saying an F type is useless and whoever buys it should buy a Jag XF sedan instead...or lets logically look at it this way, Is a corvette useless compared to a Cuddy CTS V? Both are made by GMC

I went to a BMW dealership recently and sat in a 2016 X6, X5, X3, and X1. For someone who's 6'1 tall like this woman in the video, I felt very comfortable with the X6! I only wish that the X6 had a moonroof that was as big as the one you see in the X3! I thought the X6's moonroof was a bit small but other than that, I loved the X6 more than any of the others as it fits me very nicely for someone my size who's a bit on the heavy side! I didn't have any problems getting in or out of the vehicle like this woman pointed out so I'm not sure what she expects but for me, it was perfect! :)

I drive a first gen X3 - I wish it had some of the luxury the current X3 has, but it was nice to see an upper end of the X line with a nice interior - love that screen to frame ratio though, as Derek D would probably agree with, yes? :) . But I gotta say I don't like the rear visibility (or rather lack thereof - do you feel the same?) in this and in it's little brother that you already reviewed (and didn't like if i recall), the X4

The BMW is terrible and gets plain unacceptable gas mileage for 2015, but how could anyone dislike the review? Sarah is so fun to watch, I hope for more of her reviews on any type of car. And she thought that car was big, Fast Lane should let her try an HD pickup truck lol.

FANTASTIC REVIEW SARAH.
I like Sarah's reviews and this one is especially nice. As for the car, yeah not for everyone but I think this is the best looking version I've seen. The people that buy these are probably hoping to get the best of both worlds.
This was in SC. That means my favorite person, possibly ever, was an hour away, and I had no idea. Sarah is life. I want to meet her, if only to say I have. ...this may be creepy, as she's just an Auto reviewer and not a celebrity per se, but I think she's awesome. So, anyway...

Mathijs Moonen it depends of the age too i wouldnt break my back in an m5 , i really doubt you could fit 2 dogs and lugagge in a x6 , i would buy a land rover discovery for such a thing, oh and btw the m5 is much more confortable in the back seats than the x6, the design of the x6 is hideous , i dont have any problems with the x5 , its a really nice suv wich isnt trying too hard (in design)

of all there cars and series
but i especially like the BMW M3 sedan and BMW M5 cause i am a sport sedan guy
but u cant compare a heavy SUV or as BMW said a SAV
to a sport sedan like the BMW M5.
like ppl said the x6 os for luxury or for dome ppl offroading cause its an X-DRIVE car its a X series BMW AWD its not made to be a fast SUV like the BMW X5M and X6M

Dacrazy-can BMW 5 series comfortable in the back? my dad just bought a f10 550i and the bacseats are not "comfortable" the seats are kinda harsh and the suspension is kinda hard too. the a6 he used to have were waaaaaaaay more comfortable bro. the 5 series is more sporty. (sorry for my english)
Im so envious of other countries which have cheaper prices of cars as compare to mine, here in singapore has COE which stands for certificate of entitlement for every car purchases and it costs really alot. The X6 here costs $374k which is around 247k euro, same goes for other cars, double the price of urs ):
For driving everyday and being practical they should have release diesel version with 18 thick wheels.. only then you wont have broken back when you drive over a hole.
I would propobly go for X5 40d if I had to choose new X series car. 30d or 40d 250-300bhp is way more then enough to do shopping and drop kids.
You want sport feeling? Buy M3.

Not a Smart Idea to put Air Intakes that low. What happens if the road floods, 2014 BMW X6M will Hydro-lock!!! Happened Before. Front tires got wormed out in 10 months. Car has 11,324 miles, and needs 2 new front tires. $1,500.00 +

Sarah your review is getting better everyday. At first i thought your review were a little boring with typical German tech and specs. However, I see that now you are putting more of your personal opinions and criticisms on the car you reviewing more and i think this matters to a lot of viewers. They want to know how the car feel or drive in your point of view and not necessary all the specs which people can just look up in the brochure. Keep up the good work Sarah.

yeah it probably has with those twinturbos, but still , an m5 has the same engine with some tweaks and i bet it has more room in the back and better gas mileage and obviously way better performance, i see the x6 as a way rich people with no idea of cars has to show off , because what person who likes cars would buy this slow tank , with such a shitty design , whats going on with the roof on the back ?

This would appeal to people who drive 2 seater coupes like high end mercs,audis like tts and even bmw 6 series, Jag F type as well. Most of those are rear wheels and have no ground clearance. Well they cal be used more of sports car but neither of them are taken to a track for a lap time...and this thing can hold on its own. We think its useless because we are use not to it like miatas and corvettes,,,which were considered useless when they came out.

The X6 is like the GT car of SUVs. Not really made for practicality. Just a cool looking suv.
I personally would go for a X5, because after all I might as well buy a coupe or sedan if I wasn't looking for space/practicality.

I do not agree with your opinion that it has enough space, it has very little space inside for a SUV, and it‘s like a limousine, i would not prefer this car for families with 4 or 5 persons, i would prefer this car for 2 or 3 persons that want to have a massive car.
Well i am not a fan of this car and the form is also very strange, nonpracticular and it looks like a water drop.
But the interior is nice, well the thing around the doorknop is ugly but the desctops are nice

I would rather buy something else for that money Sarah. The front door aperture is far too small and the load height at the rear too high. It is definitely a case of style over substance and practicality.
The top speed isn`t 130mph... check BMW specs, even a xdrive30d has 250km/h top speed (150mph)...

the X6 is a niche vehicle... not everyone is going to like it. but people with a lot of money who like these things will buy them just because they can afford it and since it's unique
