In my 10 years of smartphone use there has never been a situation where I needed to charge my phone to 100% in minutes (excluding times when it was absolutely my fault for forgetting to charge it)
Agree that it seems 100W is a sweet spot as for now at least. I've had my Oneplus 12 for 9 months now and the battery health is still 98% and I only charge with the included 100W charger
The advantage of slower charging is your battery feeling brand new for the first 2-3 years of the ownership. Iphones are the best at this from my experience although Samsung has a good balance between the two as well. These Chinese companies are just now pulling back because they’re realizing the importance of battery health.
Meanwhile Samsung still mostly stuck at 25W with 45W on their Ultra phones.
they are playing safe, but maybe too safe
@Techsnowball I know I've heard this has to do with the Note 7 disaster and not wanting to repeat that disaster
I hope they will use more 6000mlA batteries in the S and A and M siries (they did this already in the M siries and they still doing it) .

Of course battery life much>>>more important than charging speed , stable 15w charging with 6000mlh or 7000mlh that last 2 or 3 days is better
Meanwhile me charging my phone with only 9W:
once you go 65w+, you can never go back

While me prefer charging in slow charger rather than use the fast one
I have a phone with a 120w charger and overheating is not a problem. I always charge until 80% anyways
crazy when samsung j7 has like 5W support in 2017 but in 2022-23 xiaomi did da 300w charge in their note 12

65W is the sweet spot, for battery health and fast charging.
wtf is this guy even talking about?
oppo just announced their 320w charging, under 5 minute full battery
That's comedy man
Na they’re coming out with even faster charging phones to this day😂
they are, but they don't put them on mainstream phones. those 200w phones feel like they're experimental

yeah the 100w seems to be reliable.

Its a great organizational hassle to connect your phone like two times a day at max like in the morning and evening right?
