I was there! Afterwards I chatted to Tarby on the stage for at least 20 minutes - I'm a Beatles and Liverpool fan! He was great. And I've written to Delia a few times since this and she wrote back. It's quite a shock to see this again; I'd forgotten a lot of it of course. (Frank signed a book, but Badiel wouldn't!!

Brian Clough was the best manager England never had. The FA were scared of him I think because he wasn't a "Yes Man" or a puppet they could manipulate. I mean someone who can take Forest from the bottom of Division 2 to winning the 1st Division then 2 European Cups in my eyes is a genius. The brand of football Forest played was breath taking and them and Liverpool did England proud in Europe as did Aston Villa in the late 70's/early 80's. A golden era for English football.
