superb video as always...have been collecting stamps since 10 up to 18 yrs old...then at 48 I went back to the hobby and now I am 52...I am learning a lot from you!!
I also took a big break from collecting when I was a child, I only picked it up again 2 years ago and love learning about the stamps and history, glad you like the channel, thanks for watching 😃
I don't understand who comes here and then dislikes the content... Surely you are only coming by Exploring Stamps if you are interested in stamps or are looking to learn something... both of which are covered extremely well here! Amazing content, very professional put together, fun and super informative in a simple way... just fantastic! Always will have my support! Having a huge splurge of your videos once again tonight haha
I have recently found a mint blue Post-Paid Mauritius stamp on a fleamarket here in Germany. How can I tell if its the original or just a Vignette? Greetings from Germany. Leon.
A Post-Paid is possible, if it looks too perfect then I would assume vignette. Being mint also makes me a little hesitant. It might be worth locating a stamp dealer (they are few and far between) but someone who can take a look for you and give their expert advise. I hope it is real, that would be an incredible find from a fleamarket. Thanks for watching in Germany :D
@@ExploringStamps It looks really mint ;) I will go to a Stamp exchange at the end oft this year and will try to find a collector who knows more about GB than I do. Thanks for your Advice!
My philosophy is that “They are not making them anymore” and getting harder to acquire. Still I just love collecting them for their historical reference.
Hi I know some people who have two of the same stamps and they want to know if they are real, is it possible to check your dm on Instagram to verify if they are real? Thank you!
Postpaid one penny of morcius in my collection in orange and blue color and this stem is from my grandfather's grandfather's collection if any buyer is interested then I will sell it.
Are you referring to the 1947 commemorative ones at 1:18 ? Those can go for just a few US dollars depending on where you purchase/sell. If you are referring to the 1847 stamps, those can go for a LOT more, and it depends on the quality.
