- If there's one thing this deck is good at doing, it's killing things as we had a super sweet deck featuring 11 ways to kill creatures with double Kaervek! Many crimes were committed for value and profit. Will we be able to make it into Day 2 of the Arena Open on our second attempt with our all-removal deck?!?

Fun option at 42:16 (didn't matter): Electrodominance their face for 4, play the Lassoed by the Law for free at instant speed. They're at 6, you've got dominance for 4 and 2 drain triggers, they're dead.
Raven triggers once per turn right?

I was thinking electrodominance face into ruthless lawbringer sacking raven at instant speed to get an extra trigger on the raven and make the opponents removal whiff. Would have been cool, but leaves them at 1 so probably holding face burn is better.

Not only is using Gold instead of Gems for the Arena Open a potential way to change your luck ;-), it is also more efficient: In a Premier Draft (and most other events) the conversion rate of Gold to Gems is worse than in the Arena Open (1.500 Gems to 10.000 Golds equals a conversion rate of 0,15 Gems per Gold where as the Arena Open gives 0,20 Gems per Gold). I always try to use Gems for my Drafts and save all my Gold for Arena Open entries.

I think I would have gone with GW but splashed Red for Derailment, Hell to Pay and Run Down; Bluffs, Pylons and Mesa all help the splash work, as do 2xNaturalist and Stablemaster.
Glad you had success doing something different though. Certainly can't go too badly with premiuim Black removal I just haven't had a good Kaervek deck before so not confident with it.

I'm sure you've been told by now, but the gold cost is a fair bit cheaper than the gem cost, so save gold for these if possible, and use gold for these whenever you can. Thanks haumph

green seemed better but worked out anyway,
55:44 auto tapper is so good at being horrible and nearly ruining runs. the highligh is only a split second but it would pay ward with BR to keep open HtP for x=0.
and like this is probably one of the more understandable failstates, but all wekekend long it feels like i kept reading tweets how Auto Tapper completlty messed up without cause.
if you play with filter lands, you know to tap them first

Ideally you have some playable spells that can give you the time to draw the mana source of the other color. for example, 3 swamps desperate bloodseeker murder and 2 other red cards is a fine keep. but 3 mountains 2 consuming ashes, vault plunderer, skuldugger not so much

At 19:00, shouldn't you have pitched the Overzealous Muscle with Discerning Peddler so you could have cast it for 2 life after your next crime with Kaervek out?
