    Dog and scissors! Where did you get/find that version? And nice model! When you model a hand, is it better to have the fingers straight or curved and fanned out or straight?

    @vivoslibertos  11 років тому

    Marina is my friend and I am big fan of her, she give me personally :)
    I think the finger is better spread and bent for rigging, although it's easier to have it straight for rigging but sometimes you need the gap to get better skinning.

    I already set my next character - the concept and reference are already sets. All I need is some rest and cycling exercise before starting the project :)
    Maybe I'll create some behind the scene video about it but can't promise that.

      ***** One question: how do you added the edge loop button to toolbar? I'm using maya 2014, but there is no edge loop button in poligon section. Sorry, i'm really new in maya.

    Can't wait to see what your going to model next. Just a random idea do you think you can model a female character from jet set radio? that would be a awesome vid to watch :D

      Sead Madrid Your welcome :D
      If you're a student then it's your right to ask your teacher to be taught to, in case your teacher didn't want to teach then he/she need some spanking.
      I was taught by bad teacher and ended up in self taught because he is too sucks to be spanked LOL.

    Is this method good for the character of mobile games? is this good to animate?

    • @bluegiant13
      @bluegiant13 10 років тому

      yes its good, escpecialy with a low poly model like this, you need to rig it, and then you can animate it for games

    I wish that I had watched this before I began remodeling my character again. I definitely took the more complicated route, and this is my fourth attempt of doing so. >_

    would you be able to rig this character

    • @skatejam7
      @skatejam7 7 років тому

      of course, you can rig almost anything, but especially this, the topology isn't too bad

    • @Sploige
      @Sploige 7 років тому

      I disagree. The joint topology is pretty terrible on this model for rigging. If you want to rig it to deform effectively you would need to rework the spacing and topology of the knees and elbows. Otherwise It's a nice model. Just not ideal for animation in the state at the end of the video.

    • @skatejam7
      @skatejam7 7 років тому

      that's what skinning is for ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
