Yo Gabe. You got great content. I'm African American. Keep doing your thing. People can judge but truly educated people aren't going to be ignorant. You are highly intelligent and real. Some people are entitled spoiled adults homie. My Dad bust his ass for my family. Peace!

I subscribed by the way. I hate fake people and definitely empathize with you. My family worked hard for all we got both my parents grew up not rich. Not middle class either. Because they went to college and worked hard they taught me and my big sisters values and morals. We never judge people if people are poor, different color etc. Entitled people need humility.

Yeah, man. I forgot to make that clear, it's just that like, I'm also an immigrant and even the poor white person has it a lot easier than the undocumented person. Like at the time this incident happened I was documented, but like I guess what I was trying to say is that like it really affects your mindset the way you grow up.

I don't think it's so much an issue about skin color, but maybe you shouldn't surround yourself with so many rich liberals.

That's a paradox though, they're simultaneously the most accepting and yet the most alienating group to me. Like with non-rich white liberals, yeah we are economically bound together, but that doesn't take away their position of dominance in all their areas. It's weird, but that's the best way I can explain it. You're right it's not about skin color, it's about the social position that comes along with that.

I relate a lot to the ones who recently immigrated or have parents who are immigrants, white or non white.

Me too. Unfortunately, I really haven't met all too many immigrants who were white and my age at the same time.

I don’t know for me I was never around rich “white” people, but could see some, most white people where in the same class as me, from what I could see. I guess people have different experiences too. But in the end I think it depends on who the person truly is, you don’t have to relate to people all the time, though if you catch yourself having to pretend in certain situations just to be liked, then maybe it is not the group for you. You don’t have to force yourself to be friends with people of different ethnic backgrounds, but don’t let that hold you from meeting good people.

Yeah, the difficult part about that is that like as a human you need social interaction so it's hard if stuff like that is the only chances you get.

@@ACrownofFlowers I understand, maybe you could find other ways to relate to them then?

@@Loupoonug23 yep, and I did. As I said at the end of the video we bonded over trauma. Lol. Not what you usually want to be bonding over, but we did.

@@ACrownofFlowersYa trauma is not really something that you will want to bond on in a relationship. I honestly feel for you since I was also in a majorly white school, where there was maybe 6 black people in my grade. But I think that back then I let that sort of hold me from truly making good friends, since I also was really insecure about being black, to the point of lying about where I came from and skipping school, lmao. I can’t take away your experience and can’t really do anything about it, but I hope you find good people there or else where, even if they are from the same or different ethnicity then you.

@@Loupoonug23 oh, the good news is that I actually have met a ton of very smart Latino people with my same interests. I think I'm one of the only ones left now though. I haven't even seen a black person at my grad school, unfortunately.
