From Pennsylvania here. Yes, shoo fly pie is real! The way you want to get it is from the Amish in Pa Dutch country. There’s dry bottom and wet bottom. I’d suggest the wet bottom. They know how to make it!

I’m ready. I was ready last year. Then both of my aging parents fell apart. One had chemo. I had to do my nursing job plus. But it’s not worse. So the few months I’ve been picking up slack. Also my husband was working out of town for 3 months Double duty. Lol. Outside stuff. But NOW all is well and onward !
