      It was my understanding that the two witnesses were to be Jewish. No? Technically, Enoch isn't Jewish as he was before Abraham.
      It's also likely that Elijah and Moses are the two witnesses as they were both at the Transfiguration. And these are the two that have been shown to have the abilities of the two witnesses (bringing fire down).

    (No one went to Heaven before Jesus died on the cross for our sins). Jesus Himself said in (John 3:13) (13) And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven. All believers that died before Jesus' resurrection went to the grave, hades, (Abrahams bosom). Jesus said to the thief on the cross, "Today you will be with me in (Paradise). Then after those 3 days in the grave, Jesus ascended into Heaven with all the saints. Thanks! When we don’t understand something we just trust in Lord Jesus Christ! One of his titles is the “beginning and the end” we sometimes like the beginnings the Lord gives us but we also have to like his endings since he always has our best interest in heart. “The Lord gives us but and the Lord take away blessed be the name of the Lord!” My testimony of this was I was playing a campaign on warhammer total war 2 and things were going great in my dwarven empire but than ratmen from the south raged through my southern boarders and I started to waver in my faith but than I remembered this and realized I was spending to much time on that game and the Lord wanted to end it so I could seek after him the only one who truly satisfies The Christ Lord Jesus!

    2 Chronicles 21:12 shows that though Elijah had been transported to heaven, he came back down and continued to live on earth.
    There are three heavens: where birds fly, where stars are, God's throne. Christ is the only human Who has been to God's throne. Enoch was translated to a place where he would not see death. Not seeing death and not dying are two different things. He was translated to the Garden of Eden where God resided and where there was no death. The flood swept the Garden away.

    HEY!! I HAVE A QUESTION
    I’m not sure if this is the right interpretation but…. the curse of sin that was on the ground that Adam brought upon us… I think it was removed after Noah made a sacrifice of every animal….
    “And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭
    “Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.””
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭8‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    So was the curse removed after Noah made the sacrifice? Or is God just promising to not add any more curses to the land?

    We are sentenced to death but the world does not have to die as God says if you eat of this tree you will live forever so there is a way to conquer death, a way Elijah and Enoch found. We all do not have to die, but because this world goes their own way and knows not the lords ways as they laugh at God who is alone holy and pure they do not find they way to tree of life. God with love gave grace the world to all who believe he rose from the grave and conquered sin and the grave and gave the tree of life to the Christian as they laugh at God who is alone holy and pure dancing and singing we loved it that you can give us your son up on a cross for us and we loved it that he begged to not have the cross on his hands and knees before you begging and begging to take this cross away, as the Christians laugh at God who is alone holy and pure thinking God likes being the only one holy and pure as they show their scripture only God is good and satan is God of this world and we all need a savior to beg and become our slave of slaves carrying our sins for we all know the holy one in heaven is to stupid this side of heaven to make holy people and have to wait till heaven to be free from sin for we live in a corruptible minds and we all know it is impossible for the holy ghost to make anyone holy but he can sure beg like dog to not have the cross and suffer and die for us and cover us in this grace as we sing in a jolly tone only God is good and holy and satan is god of this world.

    1. The Bible did NOT say that Enoch was taken to heaven.
    2. The Bible uses the word "heaven" in three ways: the atmosphere of the earth, outer space, and where God's throne is. So if Elijah was taken to the third heaven, God's throne room, in 2 Kings 2:11, then how did he, 20 years later, write a letter to the King Jehoram in 2 Chronicles 21:12-15?
    Both men died a natural death, just like everyone else who has ever lived.

    This is one reason why you shouldn't listen to A.I. generated videos. Because they are way off.
    Enoch & Elijah
    Here is a counter argument about Enoch, Moses and Elijah -
    It is inconceivable that Moses and Elijah, or any other of the saints of God, should return from Paradise to suffer as these two witnesses;
    Moses died - it is appointed for man once to die. Hebrews 9:27 ALL MEN have this mandate. Otherwise this scripture is untrue.
    Elijah Died - Elijah was taken up by the whirlwind into “the heaven”, (shemayim in Hebrew which means the visible sky. The Hebrew word "shamayim" primarily refers to the heavens or the sky. It is used in the Bible to describe the physical expanse above the earth, including the atmosphere and outer space.) Shemayim can mean the dwelling of God however because of the context of 2 Chronicles 21:12-15 , This usage means the visible sky which was the common usage of this term.
    Elijah wrote a letter to King Jehoram 10 years later. (2 Chronicles 21: 12-15. ). This was after the firey chariot incident. He was taken to another location the same as Phillip was in Acts chapter 8, Elijah then was able to write the letter personally at the time of Jehoram’s sin and have it delivered through a courier.
    Enoch died but did not perceive his death. Hebrews 11:5 says that he was translated ( metatithemi in Greek) which primarily means to transfer or change the position of something. This word is used three times in this verse; twice for translated and once for "taken up".
    "He would not see death..." the word "see" is the Greek word horaó which means to perceive.
    If you were on your death bed, you would perceive that death was near. The same if you were wounded unto death. You would perceive it. Enoch was changed over without the perception of death. BUT HE DIED. How do we know?
    Enoch is listed in the "hall of faith" in Hebrews 11:5 If you read further down to Hebrews 11:13 the scripture says this:
    "THESE ALL DIED in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth."
    "ALL" means ALL.
    The scripture is clear. So to say that Enoch didn't die would be erroneous.
    But if someone wants to believe that Enoch and Elijah were taken to heaven to be with God...
    (even though the scripture plainly says; in John 3:13 And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. AND...
    "Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God" 1 Corinthians 15:50)
    they are certainly free to do so.
    As far as a literal interpretation of the two witnesses, Revelation 1:1 says;
    "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants-things which must shortly take place. And He sent and SIGNIFIED it by His angel to His servant John"
    Signified is the Greek word sémainó which means a sign or symbol. So we can understand it this way; " He symbolized it by His servant John." So we are supposed to read Revelation symbolically.
    Traditions can really mess up your understanding.
    "Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding."
    Proverbs 4:7

      I do not know where you got the idea of Elijah writing to King Jehoram 10 years after he died, for 2 Kings 1 tells the story of Elijah calling down fire on two groups of soldiers because he prophesied against King Ahaziah of Israel about the second year of King Jehoram of Judah. Seems like plenty of time for Elijah to write Jehoram a letter, since he was coregent with his father at the time.

    *John 21:25*
    25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
    If the world could not contain all that Christ did in 3 years; could the universe contain all that God did from Adam to Christ, or Adam to now?
    Paul states that what was written was for an example to us.
    *1 Corinthians 10:1-11*
    1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
    2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
    3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
    4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
    5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
    6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
    7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
    8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
    9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
    10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
    11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
    How many has God taken that has not seen death? No one can say just two, because we don’t know. Enoch was taken because he walked with God. No one else in 6,000 years has walked with God?
    The actions and powers of the two witnesses is that of Moses and Elijah. Does this mean it will be them? No, not for certain. John the Baptist had the spirit of Elijah; so the two witnesses could be the two Bob’s from Office Space upon whom God bestows the spiritual power of Moses and Elijah.
    To say that these two must be Enoch and Elijah because it is appointed unto man *once* to die denies the multiple miracles performed in both the Old and New Testaments where people were raised from the dead to die twice. It is only appointed that they should die once; so is Lazarus and the widows son hanging out with countless others waiting for the Trump of God to sound so they will be called home?
    Too many take scripture out of context and base opinions that deny the power of God. If God deemed it that Enoch and Elijah should not see death, that is fully within His power and choice to do. Hebrews does not say physical death. What will happen to those that are saved when the dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive are caught up with them to be with the Lord in the air? Do all of us alive then fall over dead after those already dead are caught up because it is appointed that all must die once?
    The whole notion is preposterous. The Bible does not say who the two witnesses will be, and we cannot name names based on the extremely limited knowledge we have of what God has done or plans to do. As Isaiah stated, His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.

      Interesting that you would say a thing about John the Baptist which contradicts what John the Baptist is recorded as saying about himself in the first chapter of John where in verse 21 priests and Levites asked John the Baptist directly, "Are you Elijah?" and he replied, "I am not."
