I couldn’t believe it until I saw it here, Taraq didn’t ring any bells to remind me of Neuville. Once again they had to change the aesthetic like Harbor in MW2019, which thankfully I did instantly recognize as such.
I never played CoD (except at a LAN party, I think) so I didn't have any context for this but, yeah, looking at it here I can recognize certain parts of Taraq.
@@lukefloor The original played way better, they stretched the map out (although maybe it's due to FOV, but back then on a 4:3 monitor I used 90 FOV which is like 120ish on 16:9, so who knows, I would have to install it and give it a look), now it is way too big for 6v6. The original COD also allowed up to 16 players per side.

Remake or not, Taraq is still one of the worst maps I've played in COD
I like taraq tbh, and I liked Neuville too. Idk works fine for me and surprisngly so, as I like to run and gun on this map

I've made a few teams leave the match.
Considering how awful Taraq is I wouldn't be surprised if this map didn't play too well either
So they remade this map with Taraq. Lazy devs.
