- Round 1 arcade in Mentor, Ohio is finally making the transition into a MEGA CRANE ZONE! This means that they will be increasing their total claw machine and UFO catchers count to over 150 new machines! There are very few of these Round 1 Mega Crane Zones in the USA and we are super lucky have one in our own backyard! The claw machine and UFO catcher wins and prizes will be endless! In todays video we just play a small sample of claw machines and UFO catchers from their mega crane stock! We try for some amazing prizes such as Squishmallows, Jujutsu Kaisen, and more! Join us for another arcade adventure at Round 1 as they begin to add dozens of new claw machines and UFO catchers for us to play!

I like maine more then Holyoke too. Lately I see maine getting the newer prizes but man yesterday was not my day at maine lol no matter what I tried it was tough to win. The staff there is so so nice though.

The variety of plushes at Mega Crane Zone is absolutely insane! The flip on the rilakkuma was so smart, wish we had spider prongs like that as well for pushers(Many are simply unobtainable unless you get help from staff :().
Tricky part of the sushi plush are that you would have to insert between the gap of meat and rice and hope the claw holds on the little string that is holding them together. It was probably the most fun way of catching in recent memory that you can achieve before payout!
Those rainbow boba looks awesome to collect. Also those pig, chicken and giraffe are slippery as ever lol, they're also heavy that it kinda reminded me of macaroon animals with claw not able to get a hold or pick it up at all. Grats on the double get on mini claw and light switch!! Always so satisfying to see those type of wins!
I wonder if people spends 300 on average per trip with 200 going into Claws and 100 on ticket games, scary thought.

We were totally pleased with the amount of new games. More to come in the next few videos. Including some Japanese classics. We thought about keeping on the sushi plush but couldnt tell if there was a gap or not. Its a goal to get for sure if its still there next time. We were iffy that a payout grab would even be enough on the farm animals. They were just too thick. We usually spend about 200 each visit. Try to get 4 videos or so. We did spend 300 this time just because there was so much new stuff. Thanks as always!!

Oh my that place is huge. We have two Round 1’s in the DFW area and both could fit inside that one and still have room. Lol.

Awesome videos and wins keep it up !!! I went to Maine round 1 after months and omgg it was impossible to win Gemini big the set up was to grab th e round pillow. I got fluke lucky and got in 1 for rilakkuma and that's it. The ufo pushers were weak sauce no matter how I tried 😢 lol. Mini claws were still awesome and win a few but I had to switch it up and play for tickets as claws weren't doing it for me yesterday 😅! Legit payout was nowhere in sight for Gemini too I watched ppl blow a ton on it too. I'm glad your locations have better set up though !!
Thank you!! Our Gemini have noticeably been paying out less and less. We were winning about 20% of the time and now we are lucky to hit 5%. Just not getting any wins from them. We had to abandon our mini claw video this week because they were not picking up and the prizes had not been reset for what looked like days. So sad. I hope it was a fluke because mini claws had been so much fun to add to our video rotation. Anyway, hope your luck changes! Thanks again!
@ArcadeRising1 totally with you on the mini claws. I remember when yall first did thr video it picked up so well and I went to my round 1 right after and had the same luck. Now it's half weak half strong. Will be interesting to see how it goes with the crane games in the next few months ! Thanks again. Keep the videos coming. Love them.
I did an investment write-up recently on Round 1 Corp (4680). I live in Canada and not the US. I was wondering, how do you think Round1 stacks up against Dave and Busters, Main event and Bowlero? To the best of my knowledge, Dave and Busters, and Bowler don't have much crane games, is that correct? It also seems to me Round1 has different arcade offerings some that are more popular in Japan. Is it safe to say no one is currently as competitive in crane games in the US as Round1?
That is correct. Round 1 has the most variety of activities such as arcade games, claws, bowling, pool tables, and their Spo-cha locations have tons of other activities. D&B and Bowlero usually have 2-3 claw machines with cheaper prizes. Round 1 also has a lot of Japanese exclusive coin pushers, dance games, and fighter games that nobody else has. They all have a decent ticket collection system but none of the prize rooms compare to Round 1's variety or quality of prize redemption items. Cost to play is pretty even across the board but Dave and Busters half price Wednesdays is awesome. While there are some independently owned crane/claw game stores dotted across the country that have a large amount of cranes and decent prizes in one location, Round 1 is by far the best corporate/franchised crane game arcade currently in existence. In Japan, you're allowed to ask for help after you've used up too many credits, can you do that at the US Round1 stores?
Not any of the ones that we have visited. We do get lucky occasionally and an employee will make it easier without asking but its rare. We want to play claw in Japan so bad!! Thanks!!
@@ArcadeRising1 I live in Canada and wish Round1 would expand here. We have this stupid thing called the Rec Room. Do you think they just haven't implemented that into training and that after the Mega Crane Zone is done that they will start assisting customers? It is one of the biggest perks of Japanese style crane games. If you don't mind next time ur at R1 do u mind asking the staff?
@@continuouscompounding We will certainly ask and get back to you! We have talked to several employees at several locations over the years and the biggest complaint is that they struggle with employee retention and run very thin on the scheduling. It seems to be a common theme plaguing the average American workplace. Low wages and minimum staff. Would love to see the Japanese model for R1 with highly trained workers and plenty of staff to assist everyone in a timely manner.
