- Live at Shepherd's Bush, London is a DVD by the Swedish hard rock band Europe. The main feature is a concert filmed at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London, England on February 19, 2011. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 15, 2011.
What a great performance. The keyboard player is out of this world. Awesome quality.
Excellent frontman
I've watching, listening to most groups of all kinds since 1965 and had not heard of the group Europe until November 2015 and was flabbergasted how good they were in each decade they have performed and now in their prime they're a seasoned group of musicians and singers with Joey Tempest leading them as one of the greatest performers and showman that I've seen in my generation. This group is tops!
Same with me and i´m a swede...i´ve heard europe all my life but just a few years ago i started to listen to europe and i must say that there are very few bands ever, that has such good artists, especially singer/guitar...
their songs are 20y+ but the lyrics are still valid..if you have possibility, look for a clip from 1982, luciarock, where they perform only 17yo...same magic back then...

The older songs are the better ones: this is the live proof!
That solo is a bitch to play. I don't blame John for ditching the toughest part, given that he probably never encounters those extended alternate picking runs in his normal playing.
I see people complaining about the solo, which is preposterous. The man is one of the finest guitarists of his generation, one botched run does not ruin an entire solo. Give it a rest already. John is amazing, Kee is amazing, and they're great in their own ways. I love both, and I'm proud to come from the same town as John.
This is just one of bands that are great at live performances:P
He still sounds great after all these years. long live the 80's.
I love you Europe, I love you Joey Tempest!!!!
I agree with you on that!!!!
Mi favorita. Suena genial! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That live performance... amazing
I was there and it was amazing
+MisterNorum lucky you
The solo on the album is amazing, but I still think Norum does a good job of it here. Both are great guitarists. It's a shame Marcello can't make up with the band as it would be great to see them as a six-piece.
Europe, Treat, Abba- best music in the world! John Norum forever! Kee Marcello too. Now why the fuck can't you get their latest CDS here in America!? I love them. I will love Europe for the rest of eternity!
John Norum is such a legend
However this was not the best best representation of Kee Marcellos solo. :)
@@JM_2019 No thats right, but he is John Norum and thats better and different.
Still as great as in the 80s
Europe was my best band in my childhood … after all these past years it still rocks me
EUROPE MAGNIFIC
Those time, music never stopped, new great band kept coming, new song kept appearing. The feeling towards the music, was like in today's time, when we are expecting new released box office movie, if you know what i mean. EUROPE PLEASE COME TO INDONESIA.
Love europe
perfeito!!!!!!!!!!!!
forever EUROPE!!!
I might be biassed as I met Kee in person in Wales and John is a good guitarrist fair enough but I dont think that anyone will be able to play Kee's little F-major baby the way it should sound in this song :)
Damn, they're still killing it!
kee marcello we are missing you
oh my god, what a solo, john's guitar playing is simply epic.
Dios, que putos amos!!! Rock duro, si. EUROPE=ROCK DURO
! !❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH I WAS HERE!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH SUPER EUROPE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE EUROPE!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!
Incorrect, Kee wrote that solo in 87-88, Norum quit the band in 86.
Europe e Foda vei... Muito bom
Wow this amazing..!
Esse homem é maravilhoso em qualquer tempo! Lindo, voz maravilhosa e uma grande performance! Europe sempre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn these guys sounds amazing!! Such great songs to this day!
SBE one of the better smaller venues in London along with KoKo & the Forum . Intimate & hot, just how it should be 🎸
The kind of Rock that I like : sophisticated, punchy, inspired, and pretty well delivery !
I think John Leven was cryogenically frozen back in 1986
such an awesome band... still sounding great..
Kee Marcello is one of the best guitar men around. He recorded some awesome solos on "Out of this World" and "Prisoners". This solo over here has been ruined by Norum...
totally agree
Is Lee Marcello the original final countdown lead guitarist? That guy was amazing ! I can't stand metal wide vibrato ,so sickly
@@gw2934never heard of Lee Marcello, muahaha.
@@gw2934 John Norum was the guitarist on The Final Countdown.
To each their own but John Norum is and was the original guitarist and will always be!! Kee replaced him for a couple years because John wanted to finish some solowork!! Kee did a great Job but he will NEVER be the one and only John Norum
I love the fact that he reproduced the guitar solo almost exactly as it was in the original song. So often in live performances guitarists improvise solos, but I've always loved this solo in particular--and Marcello's style in general.
@@0megalul309 I think Norum and Kee both have identical vibrato, the only difference is Kee is plays fast than Norum.
Norum in his earlier albums with Europe plays faster then kee. Norum had a wrist accident with dokken and that slowed him
Down a bit. But John was def a faster shredder then kee.
This solo was different
Most definitely it's a VERY Gary Moore style solo and ofcause mr norham is a big moore fan....
There is nothing you can do much for a melodic solo like this. If it was a fast solo he would have improvised more.
Saudades do Kee...
great solo
Beautiful Black girl in the balcony with all of the emotions: THANK YOU.
Went to that gig and Europe were on fire!! My favourite band since I got the "countdown" album in 87, then I got hold of "wings" just before " out of this world" got released! Taking my 11yr old son to see them next year!! They were so much better than Jovi, leppard etc but were badly managed by their record company and never got the success they deserved!! Its now people realise how good they are and they still pulling the crowds in!!
@maclaulion Time and Time Again, some annoying person will write about Kee Marcello, I think you need to accept the fact that John Norum is in the band and Kee is not and he can play it how he likes, Norum is king!
Unique sound of 80s has gone in this performance, but you can't stop the clock...
haha, John norum sings 2 24 - 2 27, pretty funny because he not usually sing in this song ;)
Relax! Calm down!!! Kee is technically superior and has better feel and melody.
But Norun is decent...
Hahaha norum in his hay day was vastly superior to kee. Them are the facts. Ever since his wrist accident with dokken he has slowed down a bit

Joey's voice...
great
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
John Norum's solos sound like if Kee Marcello was drunk trying to play them.
Kee who? Has John Norum just stepped in for him? When will this Kee character be back? Is he on a sick leave perhaps?
Ok..so go listenin' somethin' else, don't hurt yourself..!!
I'll be standing right there, in the front of the stage, singing to Superstitious when Europe returns to Sheperd's Bush in december. Omg I'm so freaking excited! :D
i'm sorry but no, he really didn't play the solo the right way
he missed like half of the fast riff. He skipped most of the down run, and just went straight to the up part because he couldn't fit all the notes. That being said, maybe he just didn't want to chance messing up live, so he made it easier on himself so it would still sound good, but not be a disaster. BUT it was def not the right way and he definitely made it easy on himself.
Spot on take, fat grown up hardrock. Northern heirs of Purple. Keep on guys.
Spot on.
Kee Marcello is way better in style and technique.
Yea maybe but Johns got that Gary Moore thing wich is feeling
superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr trop bon !!!!
My kids very like this band, so do I
« Keep on calling MY NAME and bee there🙌 » but Joey NO calling my Name😪no problème Joey, i love YOU always💋IAN , what is ?👍
joei tempest is king
John Norun is more regular than Kee Marcelo. Bad or well it does the solos of the Kee. But, Kee only played well the final Countdown and Carrie. He could never touch any other Norum solo. Kee Marcelo only knows how to climb up and down pentatonic with some tapping. In several shows eroded the Norum solos. Did not scratch! Not to mention that the blues footprint of Norum, Marcelo will never have. Norum is much better. See all the videos of youtube of the two, of all the available songs. I stay with Norum because it is much better. One more thing: on the songs where he needed heavier riffs, Joey Tempest took over the guitar.
this sounds more on heavier side compared to the original record
way better :)
i prefer original (Kee Marcello shreds)
Much better
And I was there!
*Europe*Hammer Band ♡*
The solo is not complete... :(
great video, upload the whole concert plz
me sigue gustando kee marcello en la guitarra en europe, muck better kee marcello in the guitar in europe!!!
just to have se them play at Hellfest, and 3 times after or before in France, sur it's his voice !!
@echosyst oh come on, the fact that you may not like kee as a man, it doesn't mean he is not good guitarist. I think he plays this solo equally good as john norum does. Let's be fair and objective.
Really good.
BRAVO EVROPA!!!❤
Thank you EUROPE!
That John Norum can play a bit can't he ????
temazooooooooooooooooooo
yes you're right! but Rock The Night, Carrie, Open your heart, Cherokee is with Norum !
Just watched the Blu-Ray yesterday - awesome!
Nothing like Marcello...
..as they had for one gig only new years eve in Stockholm -99. Wished they had reunited "the six piece" as the called it permanetly, but tha was not to be...
Ohhhh amazing ! and i love John Norum :)
bollocks
❤❤❤❤. Love it so much🎉🎉❤❤❤
All this talk about Norum and Kee, I just wish they had them both in the band aka twin guitar sound .-)
JOEY TEMPEST ,ESTI UNIC ,GENIAL ! FELICITARI!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Es verdad es un genio!!
Norum=King!!!
Like John Norum but kee is technically superior!
God I love them....
