Wish this game got a port supporting conventional controls simply because I love everything about this game EXCEPT the motion controls. We need more “house of horrors” type games like this and House of The Dead
As of this video, the nice thing about Kinect is that, with few exceptions, just about every game for it is dirt cheap. So I say, for a few bucks, might as well get/play everything right now, because I think most Kinect games are worth that.
It occurs to me that you can make a Kinect Misadventures for every single Kinect game. This series is genius. Inspired AF! I can’t wait til we get to D4
this game would be fantastic on VR. Just imagine it a remake or remaster where you have to look down to grab your weapons and items from your body. using an explosive vial in one hand and a machete in the other, the possibilities are endless!
A really interesting experiment exclusive for the 360. Yeah, I remember remembering how the Kinect tried to complete with the PS Move by using your full body as a motion and I recall some titles like Sonic Free Riders not working well, whereas Kinect Sports did an admirable effect with the accessory. As the years move on, my interest in the accessory wane as there weren’t much marketing and I also recall the largely negative reception of Fighter Within as the catalyst for killing any more plans for the accessory post 2013. It’s pretty cool seeing some horror titles tried their best…but yeah I wish the developer had more to work with the limitation of the Kinect….
This was the only game that made me want a Kinect back in the day. i never played it so i wish they could release it on the new consoles and make it possible to play with a regular controller.
The monster design is very house of the dead like :D Interestin review. I just know the game wasn't released in germany cos of the brutality like most of the house of the dead games.
Man Kinect was such a cool piece of tech i really feel like if they had spent a little more time developing the tech instead of pushing out tons of games it may have worked out better
The kinect was actually way more advanced before they finalized the hardware, but they had to cut corners because it wouldve cost too much. I imagine with todays technology, it could make a good comeback, but i doubt microsoft will ever try making a new kinect ever. :(
Have you ever tried the Xbox One's Kinect? I've heard that it was way less laggy and imprecise than the original 360 model, but I have never seen it in action. (No one wanted one, since the motion control fad was truly dead by then.)
I bought this game basted on the live action shorts with the zombie spokesman. The games a dud due to the Kinect sadly but the ad's were amazingly funny.
Despite what everyone thinks, there is actually a good Kinect game. Child Of Eden ruled. Also there’s an aquarium near my house that uses Xbox One Kinect sensors for light projector games all over the place, so kids can kick trash out of a river.
@@HiGlowie that’s what’s crazy! Using a projector on a ceiling, they created a Kinect game lol there’s an interactive sandbox that’s Kinect controlled, too!
I only found out about this game when uberhaxornova did a playthrough of it, used to love watching him back then! Still a bit bummed that he never finished the game though 🙄
wow this just unlocked a memory in my brain being an edgy 9 yo and seeing this cover and really wanting to play it but not having a 360 i wound up getting one in like 2016 but by then the kinect was dead and i had completely forgot about this game anyway
The Two Best Friends Play episode on this game was an all timer
Oh my god what a video
As the head of a small studio, I like to watch videos like this while working on our next game.
Oh boy, did I forget about this game. It always felt like zombie fruit ninja to me.
Honestly that's what it felt like lol

It definitely feels like a horror subgenre with ton of potential for games.
Needs a VR port

That is very true. I've been running around to different stores and I don't think most places even want them and you can get bunches for nothing.
Dude! I saw commercials for this when I was younger. For the life of me was trying to find this, finally found it! (not knowing it was a Kinect game).
It occurs to me that you can make a Kinect Misadventures for every single Kinect game. This series is genius. Inspired AF! I can’t wait til we get to D4
Yes! I've always wanted to play D4!
@@campxbox I’d love to tell you that it’s really good. I think it’s really good, but I don’t know who I would ever recommend it to lol

I just thought about this game this last weekend always wished they could remaster it for vr
I feel like that would be fun to see!
I've been following your content for a little bit now. Subbing.
Thanks for the sub! Im glad you enjoy the content

Glad I was able to buy it earlier this year before the shutdown.
This was the only game that made me want a Kinect back in the day.

Quite funny, that the fortune-teller speaks romanian, has cards in hungarian and based on gipsy fortune-tellers. 😅
Didn't even notice that 😂
@@campxbox its a bit easier if you are hungarian 😅. If was like wait, those words are familiar.
This is fun game I loved it

I love Kinect games
This game right here… Could’ve very easily not sucked.
Didn't have the Kinnect at all but looking forward to ur experience with Alien Isolation :)
Saw this at a GameStop when I was like, ten. Cover freaked me out.
Man Kinect was such a cool piece of tech i really feel like if they had spent a little more time developing the tech instead of pushing out tons of games it may have worked out better
If only it had a select few fantastic games

The only reason I have a Kinect
I didn't know that Microsoft made a M rated Kinect horror game, and here I thought they made family family games with that thing.
Despite what everyone thinks, there is actually a good Kinect game. Child Of Eden ruled.
Also there’s an aquarium near my house that uses Xbox One Kinect sensors for light projector games all over the place, so kids can kick trash out of a river.
That’s actually awesome if someone figured out a way to get kids to not litter and have fun doing it.
Better than any Kinect game

Fable the journey is the best kinect game ever have you played it before.
No I haven't, but its on my to do list!
nice
I always wanted to play this one!
I'm going to buy this one of these days
Was Kinect only popular in west
The Xbox in general is mostly popular in the west
Yeah the Kinect was huge in the west, but didn't make an impact in places like Japan
@@campxbox but was the Wii popular in the East? Despite the platform motion controls are all pretty similar imo
Both Kinect and Wii were gimmicky as hell.
I did enjoy the commercial though. Microsoft hadn’t neutered the Xbox yet.
