Girl your solo trip Disney vlogs inspire me so much, you’re the reason I did one at all this year for the first time 😆 but I think going on the childhood rides alone like Pinocchio and Peter Pan would make me feel so sad & lonely. They’re too nostalgic family rides. I think I can only do the new exciting ones alone 🤣 the childhood rides have too many emotions tied to them. Im sorry the hotel stuff happened! I relate HARD to things going wrong on trips. But bad times make the best funny stories for some reason!
Edit: I have a phobia of bugs so I would’ve started sobbing the second I saw a roach.

as a front desk worker, this happens all the time!!! be sure to check your booking confirmation on your email. and it's always better to make the reservation directly on the hotel website/phone. if you book through a third party at least do it on booking or expedia since the interface is easier to navigate

I agree on that Star Wars ride! When my bf and I went we had to get reservations so I thought it was going to be really cool but I was really overwhelmed with it bc I had to basically fly the thing. I absolutely hated it

I’m sad to hear you had a hard time with your hotel but it was made up by your trip to Disneyland and you had a good time. Because there’s so much food at Disneyland, I haven’t tried everything because there’s so much. I’ve never had any of the juleps or the ronto wrap which looks so delicious. I’m planning a trip to Disneyland and DCA to finally go to Avengers Campus, so there’s going to be a lot of food that I want to try especially the julep and the Mac ‘n’ cheese cone which sounds so good right now. 😋

But there’s so many hotels around Disneyland to book unless you specifically needed a certain price. Harbor I seen ton of hotels walkable to Disney . Try to just book directly through the hotel versus a 3rd party maybe .
