When do you want more shield?: - when the enemie has high dmg no scaling and the shield buys you enough time to outscale them. - has burn and you have no shield. - has weak bonk build that you would barely not survive. When do you want more dmg?: - When the enemy has scaling dmg. - has poison. - has shield build. - has burn and you have instances of shield. - strong bonk build. - And any other situation killing quicker is better.

I did the math by the end of the fight on day 10, that diamond barbed wire would've had ~1060 damage not including alpha ray buffs if it were to replace the tiny cutlass. Ill try to do the rest of the math and get back to you on the full number Tried to do the math but im unsure if alpha ray triggers itself because it says another ray but with the buff from that the barbed wire would be up to 1276 by the end of the fight
Is it not worth more to have the alpha ray on the right? You are already charging the core a lot and would scale all your fast items on the left of the core even faster
Alpha ray should have been on the right of The Core, you had enough triggers, you want to ramp damage, charge the Alpha Ray faster. Upgrading the core earlier via the skill that wouldve upgraded both, wouldve helped you in at least 2 PvP fights. Love the content, but sometimes I just go hand to forehead watching it.

The Alpha Ray buffs damage on Core and *other* Ray usage, not itself.
Lich is still entirely overtuned to a ridiculous degree and they still haven't done anything about it
Alpha ray should have been on the right of The Core, you had enough triggers, you want to ramp damage, charge the Alpha Ray faster. When alpha ray is the only ray on your board, it going off doesn't ramp damage. Only the cores going off or other rays.
