The tyre blew, so just lever it off with a crowbar or couple large flathead screwdrivers very easily.

Cheers I managed to figure it out with the help of the local mower guy. In order to get an intact tyre off to change the tube you need to crack both seals front and rear, then push the front of the tyre in toward the middle of the rim where the two halves of the rim meet. That makes it possible to then lever the tyre off. I was trying to get it off without pushing it in first and it just wasn't happening. :)

WHy make it so complex ?
treat it like a small and stubby bicycle tyre like i did.
No nonsense, it came off easily and new one went on easily.

Mine didn't. :) It wouldn't budge until I positioned it correctly as per my previous post. Maybe because your was torn it was easier to remove? Anyway, I was just posting in case someone else was having trouble at some point. Cheers :)

      Let any air out.
Hit the side of the tirewall with a hammer to loosen it up if the rubber is sticking to the rim and then just take it off.
