@@GarageOfTool Back again from Aus. I saw a need for a table stop and used a USA mill vise stop. $28.00 plus del. Put the stop assy on top of the table and point the rod at the base the index firger mounts to. BC
My brother has a mk1 model, much the same as yours.. Very useful machine. I like the spiral attachment and swivel head that you made, will you be showing details?
Yeah, I've just owned the machine couple of weeks, getting all working and figuring out how the accessories work. I think I'll be grinding lot of cutters in the future =) -Heikki
hi i,m really impressed i have a mk2 , did you make the swivel base yourself, and do you think its possible to make a small surface grinder, for the clarkson thanks for posting john
Hi! That swiveling base was already added when I bought the machine, but it's definetely useful to allow more distance from the wheel. And you could use this machine for surface grinding for sure, maybe a longer spindle has to be done. Typically surface grinders use bearings on tables, but it wouldn't matter. -Heikki
That's a beautiful thing, especially the helical drive
Hello from BC in Aus. Thank you for showing the adaptor block for the workhead. I have 1 in my kit but could not figure it out.
Hi! Yeah it can take pretty long to figure out the grinding setup if not done on a daily basis.
