Necrophagist - Fermented Offal Discharge Guitar Solo Cover

Revisiting this solo after covering it (very badly) a few years ago. As with everyone, this solo blew my mind when I first heard it. It really inspired me to improve my guitar playing and get better at lead guitar work. It took about 2-3 years to be able to learn and play this solo somewhat cleanly.
There are some flat bends and bummed notes here and there, but it was incredibly difficult to even get this take. However, it is good enough, hope you enjoy.
I will be back to my regular scheduled programming of James Murphy solos after an Exodus cover that I'm working on currently.

I was hoping to use the mirage for this video, but it's been with my guitar tech for about a month now. The jackson bridge posts broke so it's getting a gotoh installed and a bunch of other stuff. Very keen to use it for the next one.

@@seancjmatthews I couldn't actually lower the action anymore since the bridge was floored on the body of the guitar. The jackson tremolo was designed to be floating, but the factory esp tremolo was a top mount. Since it is a neck thru guitar too, that means I couldn't shim the neck to make it work. But I tried to lower it anyway and one of the posts came out of the body, who ever drilled the post, drilled it on an angle and didn't secure it properly.
So I got a new Gotoh tremolo for it and had the body recessed so it can float. It also got fully repainted because all the paint started coming off when the protective tape was pulled off lol.
No serious damage to the guitar, it'll come back even better.
