I’m loving this mini-series! I first got into making my own LEGO MOC’s back in the day after watching your Scarif Build Series all that time ago. I would get inspired by the things you’d make but I always personally struggled to replicate the same level of detail and quality in my own creations, still to this day. Videos like this help visualise your thought process when making certain elements, especially tricky ones such as botanical/ greenery work. I can tell you that this video alone is going to help a ton of people, so thanks! 😄
There was a meme that explains what I’ve seen with SBS and it’s the expertise experience. The more experienced and master-of-your-craft you become the more disconnect you experience with the common populace and what is common knowledge among them. SBS is definitely a master builder but his reviews always feel disconnected when he talks about the price and the money that gets sunk into lego. “Buy a few cups if you see them on the pick a brick wall” not everyone has the luxury of buying more than 1 small cup off the pab wall more than once a month, if that, and it shows in how he talks about moc building. It’s great advice, but this just feels, I’m noticing the gap between us.
@@digenis5203 I seen solid brix not recomand a set for being priced to high if fact it's getting more common.... Also it's important to remember this is likely his only hobby so he can afford the pick a brick wall... Which I recently got a good number of bricks from Lego's ite and they were not badly priced for bircks I did not already have. Now for me the issue is assuming your live next to a lego store which is a big ask... But then again it does not matter that much as Lego's site is fine and their's also Amazon and ebay and the other brick link.
yeah I have very hard time taking his reviews seriously because every set is always amazing and a good price. MandR always seems to give honest reviews even when he was part of LAN. LifeOfLego was a good channel but he disappeared from the face of the Earth.
Any hobby is expensive, right? How much do people spend on golf clubs, new cars, or Warhammer miniatures? If you are building custom Lego creations, I think it is safe to say you spend enough money on this product to be interested in $60 worth of custom pieces at a time.
Thank you, I enjoyed the discussion. It's exciting that Lego keeps introducing new botanical pieces. I saw that the Lego Marvel Gargantos Showdown set (76205 ) could also be useful for making trees similar to the palo verde (found in semi-arid areas). Thank you for the practical information.
Great suggestions. I actually built a narkina 5 moc on my channel brick of freedom a few weeks ago and the main thing I was missing was a good proper set of prisoners so I had to make my own
I just love this series. I always am looking for new ways to use pieces and this kind of video helps a lot. I wish you would show more examples in your previous videos as you did with this one. Thanks
can anyone help me with the part numbers for the tree trunk part that is tall and curved at the bottom and the macaroni brick (both reddish brown) that are shown towards the end of the video? thanks
It's called Pad printing. It's an interesting technique to print 3d surfaces. There is a wikipedia article on it. Apparently they use it for custom minifig printing as well.
Do you only use lego parts? For homemade products, you need a lot of parts, and some of them in my country are simply not for sale. I wanted to know if someone uses Chinese plants, how are they in quality? Where there are pins, of course, I use Lego, but the logo is not visible on the plants)

Another guy that gets freebies to praise lego. Boycot lego Americans.
@@digenis5203 if you don't like lego what are you doing here?

Please make a smaller moc series where you build dioramas from the prequels in legos form with the black frame!
Botanicals are some of the most used pieces in Lego mocs so I am very glad to see this
new moc when??? Also id love for this series to be a regular or something similar
Bruh
Isn't he still working on Geonosis?
Thank you for this little lesson. The usage of these elements is wonderful and very educational for someone who is new to MOC building.
The small leaf price also comes in dark red, they’re less often used than the other colours but they do exist.

Your Mocs are the best
I love your channel you and coconut bricks are the reason I started making mocs
Small leaves come in dark red and purple as well
Looking forward to part 4!

This video helped in future projects! I knew about all these types of pieces, didn’t realize the colors that some of the pieces come in.
Thanks David!
Yoooo GCC has top-tier customs
Neat, I want to get a good part collection to assemble many creations.
I just love this series. I always am looking for new ways to use pieces and this kind of video helps a lot. I wish you would show more examples in your previous videos as you did with this one.

Love your builds ❤
Great video!
1:31 versteht noch wer „keine Ahnung was ich hier meinte mit Barrel“ 😂
Awesome video man, do you think the pick s brick boxes are good? Could you make a video comparing where to buy parts for the best price.
can anyone help me with the part numbers for the tree trunk part that is tall and curved at the bottom and the macaroni brick (both reddish brown) that are shown towards the end of the video? thanks
You need to make a stream soon on yt.
Still waiting for Oogway MOC
Hey was the death star room fight diorama always 100$ or did they just raise the price last minute @
3 piece tiny little doda, perfect
Looks awesome
Can I use this for my bonsai tree? For fall!
Can he swim though
I’m new to MOCs, what is the kind of printing you talk about with this custom minifig?
It's called Pad printing. It's an interesting technique to print 3d surfaces. There is a wikipedia article on it. Apparently they use it for custom minifig printing as well.
Is Part 4 coming out?
The old flower stalk stacks just fine, you are not putting the newer version in a good light by essentially claiming the old version does not stack.
what number is the fat macaroni piece?
Hi David
