That's a great idea! If it's any consolation - my current yacht project will have a helipad and maybe even a helicopter. It's going to be over 40,000 pcs!
@@rocketpunchgo1 Hopefully starting the journey in the next few weeks. I'm about 90% done the design, then I need to start the instructions. I'll keep you posted!
@@quasiking6246 I feel like the ship itself might be too small for a helicopter but converting the semi into an SUV would be rather easy I'd think! Good idea!
@ yes it’s a cool colour, I’m just buying the parts to build an intercity 125 (a UK train) for my YT channel, in dark blue and light bluish grey, and the two colours look really good together.
Love the details spent on the engine. The truck makes no sense but you already know that. You could have the back open up a bit to have a jetski bay / add an open segment with a helipad on top. Or do whatever you want, your LEGO, your rules.
Thank you! I mean it IS an explorer's yacht - meaning it's designed for people who like to explore - what if they reached an island and they wanted to explore the island? A truck sure would be handy for that.
Much thanks - I appreciate it! I just got back into it heavily about two years ago. (36 now) - it's been going very well so far - done about 7-8 models at this point - and currently working on a new 40K pc Mega Yacht
Thanks a ton! I appreciate it. There's also a White Version too which looked pretty sleek. Can find it on ReBrickable. Let me know if you want the link!
@@vik3111 Haha well if you want the instructions they do have a fee but can see the what the White version looks like for free haha. rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-189898/MrJBuilds/explorers-yacht-white-version/#details
I may at some point. My available Lego parts are limited though and I'm currently saving them for my upcoming super mega yacht (over 40K pcs) - so that's the priority at the moment.
Well... the software I use to design the model says 4,369 parts. When I upload the parts list to Brick Link - it says 4,369 parts lol. So not sure what to tell you. You're more than welcome to buy the set yourself and count the pieces to be sure. =D want the link?
That thing is gorgeous. Would replace the vehicle with a chopper, but with the theme being "Explorer," this makes sense. Great work!

@rocketpunchgo1 I agree the semi doesn't make sense but an suv or helicopter would work well for this! Really digging the design of the yaht though!

Love the look of this. A perfect way to explore land and sea.
I agree and thank you! Lots more to come. stay tuned
Gorgeous!!!
Much thanks! Do you have a favorite part of the ship?
A great MOC, and the colour scheme makes it even better. Lego Dark Blue looks so good with Black.
Much thanks. I do have a White version too but I also prefer the darker color tones. I love the Dark Blue as well!

I love this. the music evokes classic 2010s Timelapse speed build music.
Thank you, I love the good old electronic techno music!
Pretty damn good, Very lego like to have bright plates never to be seen again :D.
Excellent build J , most impressive 💯👏
Thanks man I appreciate it
I love it awesome. 🤩

Love the work on this one. I have recently come back into Lego since 31 years ago and I find projects like this inspiring. Well done mate.
