Anthony Joseph ? Brady, I think you’re under the wrong thread my guy. This is about Mahomes & Favre being 2 of the best QBs as far as individual ability. Not anyone else.
Anthony Joseph I’m not looking at stats or situations only ability, it’s very different to read & have 2 minutes to throw to a RB vs 1 second to wait for a WR to open up down the field, Favre could buy that time with his legs & had the arm to get it there ...as well as the durability to take any punishment. If you have a good line & established team *everyone* looks great, but if you have a terrible line, poor targets and weak running game Favre and a couple others are the *only* guys who can do much. No knock to Brady but even in his own department of in game IQ every player hails Manning the smartest, and clutch also depends on your team, you have to be losing too. And is an unquantifiable measure that relies on situation vs ability.
@@cormel6895 You can't base greatness on one season. Greatness is consistently being above the rest year after year. "Individually" Mahommes had one great season. Whoopie. "Individually" Tom Brady is light years better than him. Even at 41.

1:26 - 'biggest thing that gets lost... growing up, trying to be skills-based... when it comes down to it, it's about who loves the game the most.' Great message for kids in any sport.
Sadly professional athletics today are all about money, fame and optics. The NBA in particular has become more of a fashion show than a sports league and the NFL isn’t far behind. I’m encouraged though when attention seekers like Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham are made into laughing stocks. In today’s era the questions asked are who can be the biggest celebrity? Who can get the most followers? Who can take the best pictures? Notice though that the people that win and are excelling the most in the team aspect and game aspect (Brady, Belichick, Mahomes and Kawhi Leonard) are still focused on the GAME portion rather than all the extracurriculars. Professional sports aren’t what they were even ten years ago, but if you can find even one Brett Favre every few years you can save an entire league.
Probably for the questions and prompting. I'm guessing it would be very uncomfortable for two guys that have never spoken to have to come up with conversation.
Favre put up some great numbers back in the day. Just think of how awesome he would be in today’s NFL with the QB being protected, WRs not being touched and the wide open spread offenses. Mahomes was the ultimate QB last year and was a ton of fun to watch.

Cormel farve always had problems under pressure did you not see that nbc video with the bears fans
Anthony Joseph
I’m not looking at stats or situations only ability, it’s very different to read & have 2 minutes to throw to a RB vs 1 second to wait for a WR to open up down the field, Favre could buy that time with his legs & had the arm to get it there ...as well as the durability to take any punishment.
Even at 41.
No quarterback will ever be as exciting to watch as Brett Favre. He was the come back king. The area where lambeau field sits looked a lot different before Favre started compared to when he retired mostly thanks to him
As a niner fan I hated Favre but no other QB has had a bullet like he did. Cannon armed gunslinger
Too much greatness on the field.
Why do they need the 3rd guy?
GrizzlyJ85 it’s his show
Cause that's Peter f'n king
Brett Favre n Peter King go hand n hand
Like Barry Bonds n Pedro Gomez....Sal Palantonio and random Eagle...Ed Werder and random Cowboy
Probably for the questions and prompting. I'm guessing it would be very uncomfortable for two guys that have never spoken to have to come up with conversation.
That 90s gen bionic arm still works.
Brett: "Good luck, man."
Patrick: "Yes, sir. Yes, sir."
Respect.
Favre put up some great numbers back in the day. Just think of how awesome he would be in today’s NFL with the QB being protected, WRs not being touched and the wide open spread offenses. Mahomes was the ultimate QB last year and was a ton of fun to watch.
"I forgot the play, now I'm going to run around until someone is open...." 😅
Even shovel passes.
Two awesome quarterbacks. Two talented superstars.
Love the youngster Mahomes, but just look at Brett throw! Poetry in motion!
That was awesome to see!! Thanks for the memories Brett!! The Gunslinger!!
We need more of this. Old retired NFL legends with the new young and up and coming stars
14 NFL teams made Brett an offer after seeing this video !
Brett Favre is the man!
Good to see Brett staying relevant and giving back to the next generation. Thanks Favre🙋♂️
I miss watching Farve play. I wasn't a Packers fan but I did root for him a lot back in the say. Especially against Dallas
