I like that Dieselnoi measures everyone by essentially 2 metrics
1. Do they retreat a lot
2. Do they like eating knees
This is sooooo cute Dieselnoi like a grandpa telling badass bedtime stories lol
1:03:11 - Dieselnoi's reaction, afterward, was just so great! I honestly believe that! Sylvie, thank you for this video! Such a privilege to watch it!
I love Diesel Noi's intensity! Doesn't matter if he's talking about past fighters or correcting technique, there's this excitement in his voice and mannerism. I could watch you guys shoot the shit all day long!
The Samson anecdote towards the end: the moment when he realizes he's being appreciated as an ARTIST, (not only as a fighter) & then is inclined to show you more to help you on YOUR journey... THIS; this is what life is about. This is what makes the work you do into 2 beautiful people. Thank you.
He seems like a nice guy. Thanks for sharing.
this is awesome the closed captioning allows me to understand him as hes talking its nice
Sylvie and Kevin really compliment each other. Dieselnoi is the man. One of the goats of Muay Thai.
Was waiting for Namsaknoi as well...
This video is so amazing ! And Diselnoi have a so nice heart 😀
dieselnoi is so authentic and always brings his high energy, i loved how he is meme-ing on samart or any fighters who retreat any chance he gets too 😂
I love this badass grandpa.god bless him😁
Thanks for this Sylvie.
amazing video thank you for uploading, so much knowledge
Thats very honest opinion from Dieselnoi, Its very interesting when he said Samingnoom threw a fight for Samart and he seems like he didnt like much of Femue style🤣🤣.
This is sick I could listen to him all day
am i the only one amazed with how many people dieselnoi knows well, not only that but he knows their styles, what they like and what they hate in the ring
They know each others in the rings. Like all of them met before. That is Muay Thai. They fight a couple or few a month.
Because he loves muay thai so much, Everything about muay thai became like his family.
@@trsc1052 not just became like his family but it is his life and ,MT's socity was his family by travel lived in many gyms.
Diesel noi doesn't have only dangerous knee, his push kick and elbow are good too but his knee is more better than top fighter. He retired because every fighter didn't want to fight with him. He can knee opponent by every body's position and everywhere on the ring. When you want to use your knee most effection you must gap opponent but he doesn't gap but can use it with power and effective.
Amazing !
Amazing content
bruh i fucking laughed when he called khaosai stupid

I'm a little bit surprised that Lamnamoon and Namsaknoi are not in this book...
They are both in this book
@@8limbsUs
Oh sorry... and thank you for answering.
So I will watch this video again ;)
Keep up the good work Sylvie, your videos are valuable and very informative.
@@8limbsUs
I have watched this video again and I can confirm that Lamnamoon and Namsaknoi are not in the book...
@@jeannotsobieski7260 they are both in the book, Dieselnoi does not hit every page. Some stuck together while he was turning. Click on the Patreon post link in the video description in that post you'll find a link where you can see the whole book, page by page.

That's George, or Somchai as Karuhat calls him.
Para mi el mejor ALÌ del Muay Thai
Want to get this book
Love the shit talking 😂 reminds me of how Wilt Chamberlain would talk about Dennis Rodman or Michael Jordan.

@Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai
Hi Sylvie, out of interested have you tried Wicharnnoi's strikes with the forearm?
Seems as though it's pretty effective watching his fights,
given you find a good range and angle to land them.
I don’t see Namsaknoi in there.
where is yodkunphon
44:10, jezzz i'm dead lollll
Bro thats crazy yodsenklai and buakaw. He basically called "average" and only "good at fighting westerners". That is insane .
There must have been some vicious fighters back in his day
Where can I get this book?
Click on the link in the description to see the whole thing digitally, as well as that you can buy hard copies from ThaiSmai shop in Bangkok
@@8limbsUs thanks
"135lb undeated Lumpinee champion"

knee to you
best
How come Saenchai is not in there? Buakaw is. Or maybe I missed it?
both were, near the end, watch again. He mention saenchai is good but can't compete with legends like samat, buakaw only fight westerners.
@@joesr31 thanks
Was namsaknoi inside?
I don't understand how can dieselnoi says wangchannoi wasn't good and took easy fight, he beat samart, konghtoranee, chamuekpet, karuhat, namkabuan, nampon, kaensak, lamnamoon, oley kiatoneway, samransak, langsuan, chatchai and many more. He fought all the best of his time and beat them.
I don't share his opinion, but Dieselnoi isn't a thoughtless fellow. I think Wangchannoi is scary as f*** personally.
What is Samart to say, he lost to him definitively in his last fight. Several yodmuay have ranked Wangchannoi highly when I talked to them, but Dieselnoi isn't confused either. He was there during Wangchannoi's career. Maybe he is talking about specific fights he had in mind which he didn't approve of. There is a lot behind the scenes we may not know. That's why I talk to the fighters themselves, so we can get past the thin UA-cam video record and incomplete stats. Wangchannoi though is one of my favorite fighters, I'm a big fan.
Samart didnt admitt that the fight with Wangjannoi was the hardest (never said that,he was whooping Wangjannoi ass for 3 rounds and then gassed out),he only had time to train on that fight only like a week because he was busy filming his movie and was about to retire.
ua-cam.com/video/PXelJXgJO6o/v-deo.html if you understand Thai, you will know.
@@Jamesjones-oo3yv what does he says?
I found 2 version of this book online green and blue cover is it the same book inside?
Same inside
@@8limbsUs ขอบคุณครับ
You understand him?😁
Surely Petchbunchu FA Group is the greatest knee fighter of all time? ;-)
He is the best clincher not knee fighter. I've seen his video with Shane Fazen and I don't think anyone in this planet knows more about the Muay Thai clinch than him.
Dieselnoi wasnt impressed by his knees
Kongsak Sitboonmee is Changpuek Kiatsongrit's son?
ฟังรู้เรื่องไหมครับ🤣
ขำดี 555
Many of the good muay thai fighters in 90s with normal skills, in Dieselnoi's opinion. Because he chose muay thai fighters in the 90s and early 2000s compared to the fighters in the 80's. (his own era.) That showed incredible average of muay thai fighters' strength in the 70s & 80s!
Amazing!
Did Dielsenoi and Sagat had some kind of rivalery? they fought against each other, right? Diselnoi seemed reluctant to talk about him.
They fought twice. Dieselnoi won both fights...

I would like to know, Muay Thai fighters in the past, how do they eat to gain muscle and strength.
I can tell you. They weren't rich. They ate mere foods, no supplementary protein nor bottled vitamins. But their foods are very nutrient by selections and preparations. They ate rice for energy, vegetable (important! enough vegetable is a must), and decent amount of protein -- mostly fish and pork and they didn't eat beef much (They said beef promotes more lymph than other meets which make their conditioned shins get softer and vulnerable)
@@mytube9182 Thanks! I owe you one. 🤝👍
@@trsc1052 I'm glad if it can be any help. Are you a MT practitioner ? (may I ask)
@@mytube9182 id never heard of the beef thing before, what about chicken?
@@mytube9182Yup, That's what I plan to do. But after the Covid. 😊💪
Somrak was considered tall- but it seems hard to find a solid reference to his actual height: Sylvie , any clue? 5ft 9?
He's maybe 5'8" or 5'9" I'd guess. Here is a photo of us, I'm 5'1": 8limbsus.com/muay-thai-forum/topic/1033-suggestions-for-krus-and-legends-to-film-for-the-muay-thai-library/
Somrak is 5ft 8'' and 3 quarters, Most of the Thai men are 5ft 6'' tall.
@@trsc1052 thank you for the replies!
I'm 5ft 9.. no way I could fight them..🤣😢 these are masters..🙇♂️🙏
