When we ride in kangaroo pouches as kids, it's hot and humid but there's always roo milk available to keep you hydrated so it's not that bad. Beats walking to school! Nice work Ben :)
Looks great! You did everything almost right (way) the first time! Even with the heat. Good to hear Mrs. Wrong way back on the camera and giving running commentary!
You captured my frustration with installing my soft top. I do like those removable windows you have! May have to send mine for a modification… Let me know how you like the magnets, mine is strap based.
Hello, dear sir, how is the FG40 side and rear thermal glass pressed? Do you have a machine or device dedicated to that, or do you have videos showing that?
Hi my friend in Vietnam I have a bj40 canvas roof like yours, currently the canvas roof is old in Vietnam without good material, I want to replace it, can you recommend me the address to buy it? Thank you😊
My Bj40 is 1974, I just had the engine overhauled. coming soon more economically I want to renew it, it took me 10 years to get the bj40, I want to stick with it for the rest of my life. Hope you can help me find the parts so that I can restore the car to the best possible condition. Thank you for sharing.
That sweat at the end can't be real, are you building this thing in the jungle or something! Soft top looks awesome! Are ya gonna put some form of roll bar in it?? I reckon you'll probably die pretty quick without it. My hardtop BJ42 doesn't have one and it concerns me, let alone just having those 3 bows protecting your head!
70mm! He's using a ruler now, watch out guys! Now he's serious!! Great job man!
I knew folks would be dying with that ruler trick hahaha

I knew it!
damn it! .. now I need to buy a soft top for my FJ40! .. it looks so nice, man!
They’re hard to come by now man. The lady who makes these doesn’t do it anymore, so it’s eBay or custom $$$&
"get close on my teet" haha. you crack me up.
Had to zero in.
Thanks for posting another clip! Awesome, the LC kooks fantastic, nice job. 👍👏👏👏🤩😎
Getting through the old footage, got it almost there.
Hi Ben, great to see another clip with the “40”. The soft top looks great. Keep up the good work. Dave
Thank you Dave, I have a few more to go. Good to be putting out some footage.

I actually had my upholstery buddy add the straps. The magnets were alright, but I wanted the straps. Frustrating install is my game bro, every time!
Great stuff!
Appreciate it Michael, thanks for watching me

I’m not sure honestly. I just dropped it into the channel after trying several times.
Lotsa cheeky camera angles lol!
Getting fancy over here.
Nice.
Thanks bro.
how are the magnets working out on that top?
What brand is that soft top?
Julie at Dirt Road Tops, but I believe she’s retired.

Try eBay, the lady that makes these has retired I believe.
@@projectwrongway9127 Thank you 😊
What year is your BJ40? You done any modifications to it?

@@HaGiangGo let me know what you end up needing man.
Throw a blankie on that tank before welding. You don't want it hotter in there than it already is ;)
That’s some serious heat! Good advice man, probably don’t want to learn that lesson the hard way.
I don’t drink water when it’s hot. Eventually you stop sweating just before heat stroke. Problem solved….your welcome
😆 I was supplementing those sweat glands in between takes… with energy drinks. 😉
Doing SAS this year?
Couldn’t get the time off this year. Bummer.
@@projectwrongway9127 That is a bummer, one of the truly only ways we could run into one another
@@KBrogger it’s all good, I’ll get out there some day.

I did put a bar in, for safety, and because I’ll be driving it…
I almost got cov!d from all the sweat. That’s how you get it right?
It’s an STD at this point, if I understand it correctly
I feel so inadequate with no UA-cam or Instagram handle.... lol.
I’m doing the best I can… had to give you a shout, it was all your idea!
@@projectwrongway9127 I'm remarkably proud of the fact that I'm so un-influencer
