I am not sure if anyone in here understands English, but I remember seeing this happen. I happen to live in Thunder Bay, Canada, and I was only turning 10 at the time this happened. I also happened to be at this ski hill when Tommy made these jumps. As my family was leaving, someone gave my younger sister a Norwegian flag, even though we're of Finnish descent. It is still Scandinavian, so I suppose that is close enough.
Amazing day he had... I must say, it was highly unpredicted, because he is the only one, who won a title in championship without getting points in World Cup 😉
97kos I guess by that you mean people who became World Champions, after the World Cup began. Tommy Ingebrigtsen HAS indeed world cup POINTS, but he never won a world cup competition. He got 5 podiums; one 2nd place, and four 3rd places in world cup competitions.
