I feel a bit embarrassed commenting on an old video, but I just discovered your channel and am binge-watching everything! I came up with my own theory while replaying Shadow at the Water's Edge! During the game, you can ask Savannah about the scariest thing she ever saw while ghost hunting. Savannah talks about a castle in Germany, which is clearly supposed to hint at the next game in the series, The Captive Curse. But she talks about how there were rumors of a horrible, sadistic family that committed all sorts of atrocities to innocent people. I think that was going to be a plotline in CAP that got cut out! I've seen many people criticize the fact that the disappearances of young girls throughout centuries is never explained. I think that this scrapped plotline was going to be the explanation for that! The family made up the legend of the monster to cover up their own crimes!

I 100% have always believed Jane offed her guinea pig, but I imagined it was because it wouldn't play games with her. 🙈 I guessed she either fed it something she shouldn't have or dropped it down the giant hole in the foyer floor. The skin cream thing is a dark revelation. Jane really scares me now. 😂
