I have always listened to Bishop MJ Maponga with appreciation given the clarity he brings to the excluded books to what we know as the 66 books in the Bible 🤓
I am honored to see these wise sons of Africa bring us insight on our past. Africans are one and same people with diversities. One thing happened to us that affected our looks. I maybe wrong, but Mr Maponga said in the beginning that he just set aside the Bible and wouldn't reference it, so maybe this dialogue should be with someone who does reference the Bible. I maybe wrong, but Mr Maponga said in the beginning that he just set aside the Bible and wouldn't reference it, so maybe this dialogue should be with someone who does reference the Bible.

In any African culture, you are considered whatever your father is. You take up your fathers name. Maponga knows that. Thats why we all take up our fathers name biblically.
You have to understand the point he was trying to make. He was emphasizing on the extended family that include people from your father and mother-side. It's not about names. But bloodlines.

Maponga has a point regarding the naming of mountains. and their authenticity...however, it does not cancelled the fact the descriptions in the Bible of lakes, animals look more to be in Africa....
