    Mac studio finish is one of the best concealers ever created. I use it with a wet beauty blender as a foundation as it completely covers redness yet looks completely natural on me.

    This a great video for me because I'm pale af and looking for natural concealers to help cover my dark circles when I don't want to wear any other skin makeup. So the ones that are light enough for you might work for me.

    I always remember you every time Stellar posts about their expanding foundation shade range! Finally, they're adding lighter and darker shades! I wrote to them because my best match is Nars Sheer Glow in Gobi, and they said the L02 would be the closest match to that! I hope if you get a new shade you'll compare it with gobi (like you always do :D). I have to order it overseas so the more I see it first, the better xD

    I’m not too fond of the Nars product either. It leaves my under eyes dry and cakey. I’d love to look into the Mac pot concealer. Thank you for your recommendations!

    None of these seem to conceal your spots which is really what I am looking for in a concealer. They did look like skin though, as far as I can tell on camera. I also have very pale skin and would like to find a concealer that covers spots and doesn’t move or look cakey but it seems impossible.

      ugh yes it is definitely hard to get a natural looking concealer that has really good coverage! i do like the IT cosmetics bye bye under eye - it's super pigmented and thick enough to cover spots. doesn't look like skin but it doesn't look cakey or drying on me, so it might be a good option to try!? I know its meant for under eyes but it works for anything really

      That concealer is definitely super moisturizing! It is slippy (in a good way), very emollient. Because it's got oils in it, it doesn't show a trace of dryness underneath.
      I don't find it creases when lightly set, but mixing it with a ton of powder gets a bit pasty...
      Coverage is not super full, but it does the job and looks really natural.
      Only negative is the colour selection. I'd say the lightest shade is for NW25ish skin. If you're lighter than that, you will have a hard time finding a match until they expand that shade range. It also runs towards the yellow side, which I think works in your favour if you have purple under eye circles, but if you are a super cool undertone, the warm yellow might look strange.

      @@genevieveve I totally agree with your description and that it looks super natural! Except, I have the lighest shade and I think it works well for my quite pale (neutral to yellow) skin. If I wanted something crazy brightening it may be a little too deep but it looks natural this way. I definitely agree that they should expand the shade range though! Nowhere near enough.

    What shade do you have in the Nars soft matte and how does it compare in shade to the Mac NC10? I never buy anything from Mac except lipsticks because NC15 was always their lightest face shade and too dark for me. I haven't tried the NC10. Mac waited too long to come up with lighter shades, I guess, and I found other products I love. But I'm curious! Thank you.

    • @somegirljesskent

      Lori Jones I have the shade chantilly in nars. The Mac nc10 is lighter and more neutral toned, whereas nars is a bit darker and yellow

      Mac concealer has been there for ages but isn't trendy like fenty, glossier or milk. Sometimes old formulas are just as good and sometimes even better, but are left apart because they are old.

      Looking at the Shopper Drugmart website, they're listing a "new" concealer by essence called Camouflage+ matt concealer. Maybe they reformulated it? I hope it's as good as the old one.
      It also has 3 shades instead of 2 which is still kinda...

    • @mumijevi
      @mumijevi 5 років тому

      @@Alex-fc8xn Nope, it is a very dry formula. It does cover more but it's definitely not as natural as this one. There is another one in the new series called healthy glow or something like that, I have yet to try that one, maybe it's better. Their shade ranges are more catered to europeans, since they are a German brand. I personally don't see anything wrong with that but I can see the possible issue with a more racially diverse market, like the American one, so yeah they should expand if they want a bigger audience. Their sister company Catrice has a better shade range, recently expanded, so it's only a matter of time.
