do you mean in terms of riding or mechanical? in terms of mechanics, they are a super reliable machine, i have to oil injector disconnected and mix oil on them. Very reliable machine for sure, make sure your track is in good shape and these shouldnt cause you any issues. In terms of riding they are surprisingly fast! in the cold weather you will want a good primer plunger cause they dont have a choke. Stay tuned, i got two more 377 sleds! should be on the channel soon , one isnt running, the other is a runner. Feel free to drop any questions
hiya, if you are talking about a 377 engine, the boots that go from the air box to carb, the best replacement i found so far is these: www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08B3RMJBC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the downfall is they come from china so it takes like 3 weeks or so to get in. I got them on the 40 dollar sled the 377 i picked up last year i think it was. They work great. In the mean time you can just tape them over or silicon them but those boots work fine. The carb to engine ones i can get locally, they are also on Royal Distributings website
Is it fouling the plugs? how does it normally run? that could be the main jet or a electrical issue ( losing spark), or even an overheating issue depending on the sled
They're actually fairly quick machines. the 377 is basically the same as the 380 skidoo engines. The black safari on the channel is probably the faster one. Theyre similar to a 340 ovation or slightly slower then a fan cooled mxz 380. Overall good machines
Sorry if it was not clear enough at 3:03 on the video youll see the two black floats. The arms or brass piece on the float are suppose to face each other. The brass side sits in the bowl on e on each stem in the bowl. The brass side should be on the lower side in the bowl. Basically as your fuel rises, they slide up the stem piece and push against the pivot arm and cut the fuel off. Let me know if you can figure it out if not i can do an update video.
I find it a fairly rare thing to find exactly what I’m looking for straight out of the gate but here it is! Great video. Tanks B’y!
@@NealNeallix no problem me ol trout! We got a few sleds kicking around. Soon time for some more sled content lol
Thanks for this video. I had a stuck float and quite a bit of crud built up.
Where would the factory clip setting be on the metering jet needle.
typically the third notch based on the manual. Here is a good service manual, check out page 176
