- Archie and I went to a 1.18.2 game to try out more genetics. I also added a bunch of other animal mods so I could have lots of animal friends to play with!

To pick up a axolotl you need a bucket FULL of WATER not just a empty bucket. Also amazing video! The genetics are so cool!

I can't wait for them to see how SWEM eventually implements genetics, if/when they get around to it, and just how small you can get your pony line.

@@unwindwithjdhey jd! I have a really important question, for some reason when I breed horses my world crashes and I can't go on it again. Is the foal's folder corrupted? Is there a solution for this if you know?
JD Hii!!! I had an Axolotl once but 4 months after I got him, he died. so i was wondering if you ever get a plain black axolotl in this world can you name him Meeps? thats was my axolotls name. I named him after the minecraft axolotls! because they make a sound thats kinda like a meep sound! love your video's btw!
Fun fact, in the horse world anything 14.2 hands and under is classified as a pony :)
You can click the horses from this mod with a book and i’ll give you ALL the information about their genes, including if certain genes have risks, like frame overo leading to lethal white gene.
I once made a redstone machine to let one live and to breed it, it gave BEAUTIFUL babies!

hey JD love the videos! so i would like to have better horses but i sadly cant have swem because i have bedrock but i want better horses. Do you think that this would work on bedrock? Will you put the genetic mods you used up for the horses and axolotls? I enjoyed the video! It was so fun watching the different combinations of animals!
I think the mods she used were Realistic Horse Genetics and Genetic Animals ( and if you get them and the gender is disabled just go into the config file and instead of false for gender set it to true! )
Thank you ao much!! I was wondering why the genders weren’t showing up! I was ysing gender swap twice to see if they grew or shrank lol but I will definitely fix it! I am not able to find the gender file. I've looked through all the files on the mod and it's not there.

The ponies can get so small that you cant ride them even if they're fully grown

3:57 I see the system you have and I think it’s pretty cool, but there is a genetic book (I think there still is) that comes with the realistic horses mod that you can use to see the coat genetics and the stats of the horses (including graying and daytime blindness. I’m not trying to be mean, just trying to give you an easier way to do things.

You're Welcome! I also just realized that you just right-click with a normal book (on your horse) and it becomes a breeder's guidebook.
I believe the horses can get as small as 6 hands and as big as 22 all depending on their genetics

to pick up the axolotl you need a bucket of water not a normal bucket. also its not karma if the eal/ gar looking fish killed something so it can stay alive and eat its the way things work.
edit: also if you want a smaller horse you should breed the smaller one, witch is mom not dad so you will have too pick a smaller male not female.

The reason you couldn't get the eggs was because you were using an empty bucket you have to get one with water in it 😁

Horse tack mod works in 1.18.1 and it adds loads of tack for vanilla horses I used it before swem came out and it’s amazing
