@@ShapelessKasai yea it doesn’t really matter since you have more then enough time to finish it but when I first did it I took so long that when I got to that bit it just killed me Cus I was below 100
Now, the main Supreme battle makes a little more sense, since it’s no match to a superpowered Super Sonic, but takes a HUGE level on badass and becomes super strong after being taken by The End!
I like this fight a ton. My only gripe with it is the fact that (and I don't know if this issue happens to PC or other console users because I only play on switch) the target for the wire on supreme's head is really buggy and I was stuck wondering what I needed to do in order to stop it from regening.
i found out by just attacking his head, then dodging left and right to make the crosshair target the plug, then you can just go ham on it. but yeah i loved this boss fight, so much more satisfying than what we had prior!
@@ShapelessKasaior you just do it once and it’ll work. But make sure you get out of it otherwise you’ll get stuck and end up managing to not get the final blow.
@@ShapelessKasai If you can double cyloop supreme (parry the laser for the first one and parry the orbs after the second cyloop, which will ONLY occur ONCE after the second cyloop) the animation after sonic snaps his fingers is much more sick

took a little trial and error but to be fair, the game does hint at it given how the hole on his back is another area you can target. and it's also where he pulls out his sniper
@@ShapelessKasai I guess that's true, but I don't think manuy people would think of that until 10-20 tries. I certainly didn't. Regardless of that, still a great boss fight

Oh I noticed ur playing on easy mode cuz every time you get hit by the orbs supreme was using, you lose 10 ring cap but in hard mode you lose like what 3x more? I beated the game today, 99% was done in hard mode except for one thing and that was finding the fourth emerald since it was the most obscure thing ever and easy mode made it look easy. Took me 2 tries to beat the boss cuz I didn’t know how to get the thing off of supremes head and me not noticing I’m losing ring cap lmao. One thing I hated was that god damn fifth trial. Get hit once by Knights 2 meter wall of spikes and you lose AAALLL ur rings whereas in easy you lose like 1/8th of it (though most of my fails were cuz of Wyvern).
The update itself was disappointing, i wanted to use Amy, Knuckles, and Tails in other islands, and there was plenty missing from their main arsenal and missed opportunities like Tails getting an exo-skeleton he built to harness the chaos emeralds’ power but drains 2 rings per second, but the boss fight was insane. The only thing in my opinion that really lived up to the hype was the final boss

17:39 The way the gun charges up with power and Kellin Quinn belting out the most epic vocals I've ever heard is enough to give me chills man
this is what we needed for a final boss, this new phase of Supreme/The end hits better as a final boss than that galaga level of the main game
It's a much more satisfying ending than a final boss that is basically the hacking mini-game you played a couple hours prior
Agreed
