    People are amazed at him having that dude jump off the balcony onto his chest. Fair enough. But did you see him talk over the narrator? Now that was a power move.

    They all thought the weak point had to be his throat, but it was the inside of his throat they had to attack. Very ingenious. Reminds me of Wu-Tang Vs Ninja. Abbot White's weak point was the inside of his throat too.

      Abbot White from Wu-Tang Vs Ninja a.k.a Ninja Hunter was probably based on the villain from Born Invincible seeing that Mark and Jack Long also starred in this movie and Wu-Tang Vs Ninja

    The only one thing I really had a problem with in this movie was the slide whistle sound effect every time he "activated" his invincibility.
    The first time or two would have been ok, or maybe an ominous note on a piano, but the slide whistle was just too much.

    Dude, I wish... most people just thought I was plain weird trying to speak in a high pitched voice and making wind sound effects whilst thrashing my arms about.
    Anyway, if you're interested, another one that I thought was pretty cool as a kid was "18 Bronze Men".
    It also features Carter Wong. Some of Jackie Chan's old stuff like the "Fearless Hyena" (I think that was the name), Meals on Wheels and his "Police Story" series were also pretty cool.

    I'm not saying you're a racist, but surely T'ai Chi is the most UNDERrated martial art ever. Most people think it's relaxation for bored middle-aged housewives when it's actually a brutal and supremely efficient fighting system.

    @fadedproductionsVX martial arts are not about killing or getting yourself killed but they are self defence and understanding your self and your potential better and of course to improving yourself too.

  • @ClandestineLodge
    @ClandestineLodge 5 років тому +1

    The difference between good martial arts movies, and regular movies is that the actors are not really acting as far as the techniques. They are real! Serious practitioners should consider researching these techniques. One good source for authentic Iron Shirt is Taoist Master Mantak Chia. Practitioners may want to consider becoming acquainted with equivalent techniques being practiced in other regions. For example, a student may benefit by comparing Western exercises such as the Circulation of the Body of Light exercise to the Taoist Microcosmic Orbit. These exercises are very similar to those expounded by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (in the West). Both systems may be viewed as Internal Martial Arts, or Inner Alchemy.
