Wow this seems way better and a million times faster than a tumbler lol
I like it a lot better than tumbling! you have complete control over the shape, and it only takes a few hours to get one done as opposed to several weeks in a tumbler 😊
Help me rock wizard. There's a beach near me with large purple and green sandstone rocks they are the size of a dinner plate and disk shaped. Can they be polished like this I wonder? Help muchacho. Do u know Rock wizard?
@billyelliot4141 🧙♂️: of course they can! it'll take a while 😅 for something that size I would clamp the rock to the table and hold the polisher
I see a nine inch angle grinder or a buffer for painting finish. Variable speed is important.
I need this for all my precious rocks❤
any polisher/grinder will work and we got the diamond polishing pads from Amazon 😄 they're incredible but they do chip some of the softer rocks
You could use a car buffer as well. I would use a vise to hold it in place.
Please use more water unless youre outside and masked up
Good job
thank you!
😮
Schleifst du trocken ohne Wasser? Wirklich eine tolle Lösung! 👍
There's a bucket of water offscreen for dipping ☺️
Is this just a grinder flipped upside down?
it's a sander/polisher flipped upside down 🙂
I sure hope you have more than just 50 grit... you need 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, 6000.
lol yeah we have lots of grits
@@thebroadhouse -- ..we have a lot of grits here in the deep south as well! 😂😂😂
@coffeehunter8742 😂😂
A variable speed grinder? Is it very expensive? What kind of sanding pads do you use?
not too bad. we got this one for $40 but it was on sale. I'm sure you can get a good one for under $70. these are diamond polishing pads
@@thebroadhouse soo I was looking up variable speed grinders on Amazon and a lot of angle grinders pop up. I don’t want that right?

Is it a had held grinder??? Is so please just buy the correct tool for the job. As I have done a stupid with a plugin hand held belt sander. And 6 or 7 weeks later my finger healed up enough to go back to making my earrings, and yes I got the correct tool for the job!
Yes this is a handheld but it's mounted to a table. Definitely would never use a belt sander like this 😦 glad you healed up!!
Where can i purchase one?

yes!! that's why I usually use a Dremel
Yes. Shape is as unique as the finish. Why grind away on rocks until they are all round.
