Ryan Thomas Andersen was born March 20, 1985, in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up, Ryan was very artistic: he loved drawing, movies, and music of all genres. After graduating from Arcadia High School in 2003, Ryan went to Scottsdale Community College to study film. After 2 semesters he dropped out to work on a feature film as a non-paid PA in Superior, AZ. Ryan would soon go on to write, direct, shoot, and edit several short films winning numerous film awards, becoming the most leading filmmaker of Arizona by 2012. Andersen then went on to win the global contest Doritos Crash The Super Bowl in 2014 with his commercial 'Time Machine' which aired during the SuperBowl, becoming an immediate favorite for over 100 million people. In March 2014, he began creating the concept for IM'perfect. Andersen's Visceral Experience, IM'perfect marks the beginning of his grand entrance to the world of feature length cinema, and was named 'BEST ARIZONA FEATURE', along with, 'FILMMAKER of the YEAR' in 2017.

There were some great commercials last night, and I had some other favorites. I voted for this one in the vote for best ad, though, because it shows how great an ad can be with just a creative mind, limited budget, and real people instead of paid actors. Plus it's hilarious and AWESOME!

I learned today that late last week, Gavin - 6 years old at the time of this commercial - passed away from injuries suffered in a bike accident. First we lost Ryan to cancer, and now Gavin is gone as well. This simply isn't the way things are supposed to happen.

You took a thought and turned it into one of the most funniest TV ads I have ever seen. I keep playing this damn commercial over and over again because every time I do I am laughing so hard. How you delivered the product that you are selling and made the viewer so interested in what you wanted to show in the commercial. How it played out from start to finish was so awesome. Jimmy, your soooooooo old that was so funny and then he hugs the old guy.
You see this is why Doritos always have the best commercials. They let actual creative people try their hand at a commercial instead of having some guys in suits and ties deciding what to do in a meeting.
