The crazy thing is I just watched The Color of Money for the first time this year. I didn't know it was a Scorsese film. I really didn't know much about it except it was about pool sharking. What a pleasant surprise. The movie was incredible.

Isn't it great when you discover a hidden gem like that? Scorsese's touch really shines through in 'The Color of Money.' Glad you enjoyed it!

Although his action scenes always amazed us for three decades , killing off Rebecca Ferguson's character in his last film really broke our hearts

Wow. Thanks for spoiling that film for me and everyone else who hasn't seen it yet.

It was a heartbreaking moment in his last film. Rebecca Ferguson's character added so much to the story with her presence.

There's a blink and you will miss it scene in "The Outsiders" as they were heading to their big brawl at the end of the film, they come out of the Curtis home all pumped up and if you look in the background you will see Cruise's character Steve flip upside down on the chain link fence and do this quick very cool handstand/ walk on the pole of that fence. When I first saw the movie as a child I thought it was the coolest thing. Does anyone else remember seeing that. It was obvious that Cruise had like a gymnast type of ability. I've never seen such a thing. And it's in the background. Which means that Cruise basically did this kind of unscripted on his own as the camera wasn't focused on him. But it did get in the shot, watch it and you'll see it. And it wasn't really meant to be showcased. You just see them all come running out of the house ready to rumble and through the fence, over the fence, but focus on Cruise and you will see him do this crazy ass quick handstand walk/ flip on their front fence. And it's in the background. Crazy. Things to come.

That's a fantastic observation! Tom Cruise's athleticism and dedication to his roles always shine through. It's those little unscripted moments that make movies even more special. Thanks for sharing this interesting tidbit!

After "All the Right Moves" and "Risky Business" in 1983. He was a superstar. And then in 1986 "Top Gun " made him top dog.

You're absolutely right! Tom Cruise had a meteoric rise to superstardom in the '80s, and 'Top Gun' solidified his status as a top-tier actor in Hollywood.

I think he should've jumped from the motorbike at the end of the edge, for maybe a bit more velocity & height or some shiz
