A good lesson about how one approaches a hide can make a difference, too. He went under that stair railing twice and didn't catch it. I wonder if once he found the picnic table hide, he also had an anchor point back to the hide on the stair rail. Do you think you would have gone back to the porch and stairs had he not beelined there after the picnic table?
