  • Welp, the time has come to take out the mats and see what we have for a floor. The seats are off to the upholsterer, and the new carpet is ready to go in. Back on the road soon.

    Thoroughly enjoying your work on the Volvo. I have a 1962 4door in similar condition. Much harder to source parts in Australia.

      That’s unfortunate. Shipping from Sweden or Denmark is probably prohibitive huh?

    Agree w a little putty here and there. It's not a hemi cuda.

      Floor panels are readily available now too. In the future I may just replace that one floor section. The rest are great!

    It is a design fault ( the only one on the car !) I rebuilt 3 Amazon s in the 1980,s.

    Any rust holes in the front foot wells caused by dirt and debris collected on the chassis members under the hood.

    that gray matt would have given wasy the first ride with two adult passengers, Better now than disappointment later.

      Only the glue was still holding it together. It needed to go unfortunately.
