  • What a day
We watched other boats absolutely smash the Chinook in short order
But we could not do the same. We had a few opportunities and very grateful for them
I did see a boat with a 36 lb 32 lb and a 28lb chinook in the same box
Probably the biggest box I will ever see.
If you enjoy the content I would greatly appreciate it If you would hit that like button.

Great day on the water. Were you using a auto pilot for the kicker?

Was that a Barbed hook? 🤔 Looked like it took some effort to get a barbless foul hook, in the head , hook out.

This is why I use the gamakatsu big river. The barbs break instead of bending, sometimes they leave a small nub left on the hook after the barb breaks. That little nub can be sticky sometimes.

21:07 Sucks to see how much it's bleeding but it is what it is, hope he lived to see the end of another hook once he hit the river!

Ya it does suck. We slowed down our speed after a couple hours and started using bigger baits to stop the coho from attacking.

Meatline. More common in the Pugetsound. Basically a hand held downrigger

Is the island Tatoosh Island near Neah Bay? North Westport hasn’t any island or big rock.
