Kevin love the franchise videos, especially this year as DD is staler than it’s ever been. Small suggestion, if you’re rebuilding a team, utilize the trade deadline and trade anyone w expiring contracts. Also, sign good players to one year deals and then just turn around and trade them at the deadline. It takes a little longer but it’s well worth it bc you just end up creating super teams. Love the franchise content. Keep it coming!
I’ve seen tons of YT gamers do Franchise mode but never seen one do it in a suit and tie! Kudos Kev!

Kevin buddy. You gotta look at the actual rotation and lineups instead of just the depth chart in order to make sure everyone is in the right spots for the lineup and rotation. That’s why you had leclerc in the rotation there for the minute.
I’m doing a Rockies rebuild right now, I commented about it on your expos/rays video. Just take scrubish prospects for Bryant and your starting pitchers. Trade Blackmon to a contender to do right by him. But again whatever the return is take it. The main objective here is just to get that money off the books. You’ll have the 3rd pick in this 1st draft, use it wisely bc you have a need at every position. Then rebuild through free agency.
I traded basically my entire starting lineup except Brendan Rodgers Nolan jones Tovar, Diaz and yanquiel Fernandez. Most of them are back ups now to guys I either drafted or picked up in FA my 1st offseason. Starting lineup now has

Franchise has so much potential but constantly the single player modes get neglected for Ultimate Team or Diamond Dynasty

i rebuilt the rockies in the show 22 and managed to win the world series after five seasons. what really helped was Yordan Alvarez and Tucker not having big contracts yet. I traded for Tucker with a ton of big prospects, and then I signed Yordan once his contract woth Houston ended by barely outbidding them. then the real seller was my signing of Juan Soto where i just threw half of my team salary at gim and he accepted. it was like a two year contract but we won on his final year. also i traded for Ian Happ and he ended up winning world series mvp. tucker also led the NL in home runs on year so that was funny

Kevin, I have a suggestion.....You should set down some hard ground rules, like no interference until the 7th game of the World Series, or something similar. The way you're doing it now, every team you rebuild will probably end up winning the whole thing by their 2nd year or something like that. It's great but you pretty much render the draft completely useless because you will never see any of your draft pick grow into MLB players. So in a sense, it's not really a true rebuild because everything you're doing is through Free Agency.....Just a suggestion....Oh yeah, I just wanna say I wrote this comment at the very beginning of the video so if there's anything strange that I've said, it's because I haven't seen the whole video yet......
