This premiere of Amazing Race felt like a breath of fresh air after the clusterfuck of Survivor premiere. Amazing Race is back to the Amazing Race most of us fans like after a 5 cycle stretch thanks to the pandemic of it not feeling like the show. Not surprise Joel is still having knee issues. They filmed this 4 months ago. Its airing out of order due to the strikes, SAG is still in strike. It was cool seeing teams struggle in airports trying to find a flight. We are still in Thailand for leg 2 next week. I like all the teams. Jocelyn and Victor won a trip to Patagoni, Chile. I knew David would be happy he got Jocelyn and Victor. Great recap as always love the teams so far😃Was surprised u weren't more horrified by the bug eating especially tarantulas!! Omg, there is NO amount of money in the world that would make me eat a big hairy spider or most bugs of any kind- none, seriously. NO WAY. But good for them getting thru that just amazing 🎉🎉🎉

Hard to choose a team. So many backstories that I like. I agree that the difference between varied bamboo poles and a sword seems a bit hard to compare! Is there something we missed on the clue? Appreciate the recap.
