There’s actually a comic that explains how kratos got to Norse mythology somewhat and is canon. After god of war 3 he “kill’s himself” but he is cursed that he cannot die by his own hands, so he ends up in Egypt after travelling around. He is tasked to save the people from a monster by an Egyptian god, which he does. However that’s where it ends, so he isn’t actually realm travelling or anything, it’s just like crossing borders.
