I had doubts that a bigger better pump would fix my loader being slow, well it did. Also was careful about how hydraulic lines were routed throughout the tractor. Thanks again!!
Very good video! Now I'm thinking, maybe in future to change my hydraulic pump as well. For me its fast enough with NS- 32. The difference is quite big with NS-50!
It's a very big difference. I don't have to use throttle to move the loader. It just moves very quickly even on idle. New problem is that there should be a hydraulic oil cooler as well, oil volume is only 20L and it will get warmer. And definitely use a replaceable hydraulic filter - the original filter system is not adequate.
hrz4x4 Yeah the filter is good idea and you need to change oil for this pump, especially for winter. Because the original oil moves slow, but for this pump it needs to move fast, there is a chance to blow it up with that slow oil!
I don't show it in video but I have MANNOL Hydro ISO 46 hydraulic oil now in the system. Also I will be replacing all other oil's to newer standards (gearbox etc.).
I just re-build the gearbox for my MTZ-52 and I will use the TEP-15 oil, the frontloader aswell will go on this MTZ-52, because with MTZ-50 it's terrible to drive in winter and wet conditions. In the hydraulic system, I've got the original diesel oil, same as the engine.
Soon. Very soon I will replace the TEP-15 with 80w90 oil - during winter TEP is like plastilīns and I am quite sure it will not be enough for lubrication.

Looks like 19 gallon per minute nominal flow. Maximum is even higher up to 35 gallons: jihostroj.com pump q2-51: Actual displacement 51.44 cm3 Rotation speed 350 - 2500 min-1 Pressure at outlet (max. continuous) 270 bar Nominal flow rate 71.8 dm3.min-1 Nominal input power (max.) 40.8 kW
How has this higher capacity pump been working for you? Has there been any over heating issue with the hydraulics with the higher flow pump? I believe my old Belarus 825 has the original which is about a 45L/minute pump. Its okay but 70 litres/minute would sure make a difference for loader work!!
It's working just fine. No problems with it so far. Maybe the oil capacity could be bigger / or oil cooler to keep the oil cooler. It is getting hot when really working on full throttle a very long time.
@@hrz4x4 Oh Okay. Does Belarus offer that larger pump NZ50 too or is only available aftermarket? AS I haven't noticed any Belarus tractors with a higher capacity pump. But I've seen lots of MTZ tractors pulling those forestry trailers with the crane on, some the trailer wheels are even driven. I noticed they have hydraulic coolers or big hydraulic tanks on the tractors. Do you know if they use the tractor hydraulics with a bigger pump like you mounted (or bigger) or some how drive another hydraulic pump for the trailer crane?
They use 3 different options. 1) tractor hydraulics with more powerful pump (NZ50 or the one I used). 2) pump driven from PTO. 3) Pump driven directly from gearbox. Driver side of the gearbox has a cover. You can attach stuff there - a output shaft for a drive shaft to drive the front mechanical winch or a hydraulic motor. More hydraulic oil is definitely better anyway.
Yes its impressive all the modifications they make to these forestry tractors! I would think the hydraulic driven winch would be simpler to build. I like how the trailer wheels are driven from the tractor PTO. How does that work with the Tractors PTO. Is the PTO just shift into ground speed to drive the trailer wheels? @@hrz4x4
If you produce a tractor long enough there will be all sorts of homegrown engineers to think of different cool systems. It's like grownups leg0 really. Mechanical winch is just simpler to obtain an install with a drive shaft. Hydraulic motors were not so common in the 'old times'. I don't know about the PTO assist but I can assume that it's not perfectly matched. You really need to engage it when you are really stuck and then it does not matter if the wheel speed is perfectly matched or not.
It's good. Specially this MF T229 - i have many friends who have the same loader and they are really happy with. And they use good hydraulic distributors on the loader. Some other brands use too small distributors.
Sorry, it's the only video I have about that process. I did not film the hole drilling process. I just used simple hand tools to make the flanges. If you look closely around that same time you can see different versions of the flange on the table and in my hand.

It's not about 'taste' for me. The wheels are superior on wet ground and they save a lot of headaches. I rarely use first axle even in mud and rough fields. And it's very comfortable ride on soft rubber compared to the original wheels. It's just practical.
