@@astronomyscope hey there, I have lost a screw to hold the eyepiece in place. I was just wondering if you knew which kind of screw I would need to buy to replace? Thanks in advance.
Plus this scope also has a railing system so it can we compatible with both the star sentiments as well as CP expensive computerized mounts such as the nextar, The evolution, And the origin mounts
I have had 2 of those for over 20 years. Great travel scope or bird watching, taking to a shooting range or just casual views of the night sky. Many uses for those scopes. Also have a solar filter for one of them. Have travel bag and take one of those on vacation trips.
Hi thank you for this video can you please tell can I see good pictures of the moon and can I see planets and their moons and one more thing please can I but my phone on the telescope so I can take pictures thank you look forward for some answers
Fun fact: the screw at the lowest of the tripod is used to pull out the inner tube too. When you pull out the tube and retighten the screw, you can get a little more elevation like 6-10 inches or so. Just be careful as it can get a little shaky.
Hello, Im trying to use it however I do always see the stars and planets like umbrellas or arcs, I can't focus well enough to see them. I have used it for bird watching, but during the night, even the moon is blurry.. is there a way to collimate this telescope, I haven't found tutorials, nor has Celestron replied to my messages
I found the PERFECT inexpensive tripod upgrade too! Just got mine today and it only cost 35 bucks! The Joilcan AH75. It works perfectly, is sturdy, and it can be easily panned/moved unlike the garbage tripod that came with the telescope. I couldn`t even view the MOON with the stock tripod! ERRRRR!!! I also have the Skymaster 15X70 binoculars. I think this tripod is about to make those a lot more useful. I may try to use the wobbly tripod that came with the telescope to rig up something to a pole firmly implanted in the ground in my yard so I can sit in a chair and see almost directly overhead comfortably with the binoculars. But I suppose I can just lie on a foam camper mattress with a couple of thick pillows. They`re so heavy but amazing once you get to the prism screws to adjust them and not see double images. You can see so much more in the night sky compared to 10x50 binos. The Milky Way is incredible. I wish I could afford their premium brighter ones. I was able to see the bands of Jupiter with the Celestron with a 2x Svbony Barlow, 90 degree diagonal, and their 10mm Plossl. So I like the scope.
Agree I dumped the 3x Barlow and the finder scope. And got a better eyepiece, a 2x Barlow and a laser dot finder.. also found a better tripod for heavy cameras. More stable
Did this come with a 3x Barlow lens as well? for the extra magnification, as looking to pick this one up for myself. Love the videos keep them coming 😊
Thank you for the kind words and pleased to hear you are enjoying my videos. This doesn't come with 3x Barlow Lenses by default, no. You would need to get them separately.
I recommend getting a 1.5 or 2 times Barlow. This scope is too small for the 3x and some have said it won`t focus. But I don`t know for sure. You may be better off getting better eye pieces but they say the 20mm is good. I ordered a Plossel 10mm to see if it`s any improvement but haven`t received it or the scope yet. You may want to get a 90 degree mirror too.
Thanks for this video! I got this telescope a couple of days ago and it's now set up properly. Can't wait to use it to see the moon etc! 🙏👌
Hope you enjoy it! Glad this video was helpful!

@islagraham4803 Just use the one from the Barlow since that Barlow is trash
@@Astronomer118 Thank you 👍
I'm in love with your accent ✨
Thsnk you for an informative set up vid😊
No problem 👍Glad it was helpful!
So finder scope helps locate objects before I use the main scope?😊
Yes it does!
Plus this scope also has a railing system so it can we compatible with both the star sentiments as well as CP expensive computerized mounts such as the nextar, The evolution, And the origin mounts
So my main part of the scope is still blurry and the small scope is upside down for some reason help!!! 😅😅
When did you buy it? May be a good idea to return it and get a replacement sent out...

Its so versatile. Thanks for sharing this David!
@@astronomyscope Your Welcome.
I have a travel case and take one on vacation trips.
Thank you so much, I just got this for Christmas
Have fun!
Does the mobile adapter work on this to take photos?
And does it matter if the up down lever is pointing same direction as the scope? Thank you
Hi Tony. Not that I am aware...
Really help ful
Glad to hear that. Thanks for letting me know.
@@astronomyscope Your welcome
Greetings what is the scope is showing upside down
Can you attach a camera onto this lens?
Mine keeps pointing up when I fully extend the telescope, I think it might be a loose screw which isn't tight enough.
Can i see other planets like mars and saturn with it?
Thank you for your video👍🏻
Thank you very helpful 🔭✨
You’re welcome 😊
I am now able to set mine up
Fantastic, good to hear it

What is the big top screw for?

It maybe the diagonal try looking without the diagonal.
I second what Donald has suggested... Try that...
Thanks guys, I will try
These can be great little scopes especially if you upgrade the diagonal and eyepieces.😊
I agree, thanks Donald!

Excellent explanation! A question the 10 mm and the 2 x when and where to use?
I'm missing a piece and I just got it so I'm not able to make it
Where did you buy from? I would get in contact with the seller right away!
