Great podcast and observations. Some fans are really going overboard about Gradey not hitting his 3s. It’s been fun watching a Raptors summer league with multiple legit prospects again. The pipeline has been dry. I’m hoping Koloko gets back to the court soon with the Raptors 🙏🏼
Y'all need to get in touch with your contacts with who is producing the summer league games and tell them that no one wants their court screen to be shrunk down to see the commentators talk or do an interview
I think Chomche has higher upside than Koloko, but a much, much lower floor. Would really love to have Koloko back. And it would be such a great story.
@@DanGolag yes, his physical tools are there but Koloko can step into the back up 5 and impact defense right away. Urich is years away and it’s all projection. He’d be a freshman this year and that’s how I’d develop him - very slowly.
@@Tom_TTT Koloko can't step in right away and make an impact. He wasn't making an impact before when he was healthy. He should go to the 905 and play then see where he stands at the NBA all-star break. I feel like Branden Carlson, who can shoot 3s and block shots, should be ahead of him in any rotation.
Chomche is nuts. I've never seen a player with such amazing tools and know so little about how to use them. Long term project for sure, but I'm here for it.
@@IceManLikeGervinKoloko is elite on D, offensively is where the challenge is. Carlson is older and does not have Koloko’s upside. He’s only played two summer league games, a bit premature.
Agbaji is just Issac Bonga 2.0. Another guy that can defend but can’t do anything else well. If he’s on the roster this season I’m questioning if this is just an obsession with his potential rather than anything else. I get Flynn like obsession with this organization and Agbaji. I just feel like he’s going to be here for a while at the expense of other talent we’re going to let walk.
Loved the moment of clarity where Will is like 'Trump got shot and COPA was a shitshow I want out of his hellhole' before pivoting back to swim time lol 😂😂
Raptors signed both Jamison Battle and Tylor Perry to Exhibition 10 contracts on July 16, 2024. The Toronto Raptors current roster: CP: Poeltl/Olynyk PF: Barnes/Boucher/Mogbo SF: Vezenkov/Dick/Ogbaji SG: Barrett/Brown/Freeman-Liberty/Walter/Temple PG: Quickley/Mitchell/Shead Two Way Contracts: G DJ Carton C Branden Carlson C Ulrich Chomche Exhibition 10 Contracts: F Quincy Guerrier F Jamison Battle G Tylor Perry Free Agents: F Jordan Nwora (UFA) C Malik Williams (UFA)
GD is 8-26 fg / 0-9 3fg. Everyone else in the rotation - even Chomche, has made at least one three point shot except the guy labeled as the best shooter in the 2023 draft. GD isn't a starting SG, he can't dribble/create for himself plus his D is not up to par. He's a role player off of the bench. GD's overall play through two games has been very underwhelming. I can see Ja'Kobe Walter passing GD in the rotation by the all-star break. Jamison Battle has played very well. Carlson has been solid especially as a rim protector. JFL is a pro. Carton has been a spark plug. Shead is as labeled plus he's making 3s. Mogbo has looked like a glue guy. Temple, currently, is taking up a roster spot that could go to a player who can still play especially if Koloko comes back.

@@IceManLikeGervin Koloko has played in the NBA and was reasonably effective. You've seen Carlson in two summer league games. Cool your jets.

Could we speak on Christian koloko timeline back and where would he fit in on this roaster
Next time, don’t blur your feet.
The overeeactions people in the comments are making about Gradey are crazy. Do you guys know basketball at all?
Having spent far too much time on Twitch, I'm always going to see his name as Jamal 5head. Very excited to watch this team grow.

16:53 had me dying 😂😂😂
Will: I'm a fan, I'm a fan
My broken brain: Ooof, don't say that
Jamison Battle is the best shooter the raptors have drafted. Why are you not talking about him!!!!’
Alex please stop saying 'like.' It is soooo disconcerting.
So lou left sports net since Alex got fired and to now just to be unprofessional.
No one cares about banter pod, please don’t do it.
